Nice mod, do you know how include Iron Sites mod for 64bit. Tried a few things but didn't work!
I haven't been able to get Iron Sight working for 64 bit. Sorry. Something to do with the CryEngine.dll file in Iron Sight's bin32 folder being used for 32 bit version only - I think.
You could edit FarCry Upscaled to load it in 32 bit mode for Iron Sight to work together. Running FarCry Upscaled in 32-bit might be problematic because of many large textures, and u lose 64-bit features.
Don't know what **** I done but kinda got Iron Sights working in 64bit BUT all guns fire like they are silenced and when in ADS the hit maker is where the reticle would be if not in ADS. Not really ideal but may give someone a clue to what I've done to make it work properly (was in Dev mode)
I was actually modifying the sway and speed of player when holding certain weapons.
I tried copying the CryEngine.dll 64bit and pasted in the Iron Sights mod 32bit folder hoping it might work...nooo go
may i help you?
i also dived deep into the 32bit dll in 64bit OS environment vs memory handling, i needed it urgently for my mod.
my current solution: i use the 32bit 1.4 patch lvl on 64bit W7 and can use 4gb ram for cryengine (not only in editor).
there is a tool which provides the fc.exe with the needed compiler bit which allowed it to adress the 4gb.
pm me if you interested in!
the big con of the the origin 64bit relase of FarCry is, that it's only for patch level 1.3 and that there is no SDK for, so it's not possible (atleast i think it is so), to mod the cryengine.dll with the usual given c++ SDK part.
