Fantasy Total War is a mod involving 2 simaler worlds but that are also different in many ways. It will feature The Elder Scrolls : Skyrim, Oblivion, Morrowind and Lord of the Rings. The aim of this mod is to bring a exciting new mod to total war. You can play as a faction from skyrim and battle against the dark forces of Middle Earth or you can fight the civil war in skyrim its up to you. As for the mod itself may take some time as we are a 2 man team and have a lot of modding to do plus the fact we are combining to world maps together. is there any release date in your mind?Because I really want to play the mod these ideas are all awesome but if you want another idea I would say kingdom of amalur it's an good idea to.Or dragon age .

Another idea for factions could be Deities Vs Demons. Basically, one would clump together angels, greek gods, egyptian gods, fairies, santa elves, norse gods, all the "good folk" from folk tales, legends, and such for the Deities side, and Demons could be all the monsters and evil ****, like Minotaur, Hydra, Cyclops, Fenrir, Asophis, casual demons, and the Chaos Warriors from Warhammer could be in this mix too.
they could all be put into this mod but as there is faction limits which is annoying. also it would sadly increase the time before release on this mod and in case anyone is wondering why there hasnt been any updates its because im currently looking for more help with the mod and im also in Australia for christmas and new year and doubt i ll be doing any modding till i get back :(
Understandable. The faction limit really does put a barrier on what you guys can do. And time until release doesn't matter. The more time it's worked, on, the better it'll be anyways :D
Faction limit. That sucks.
BUT, I have a big 'ol list of suggestions for you if you ever find a way around that. ((Some might already have been done, but meh))
ALSO, to skip around faction limits, you good band similar factions together. Like, since all fantasy Dwarves are basically the same, You could just have Dwarves as a faction, featuring special **** from every sort of dwarf race in the stories.
Same with Elves. Logically, there would be different kinds Example Dark Elves: Dunmer and Dark Elves from Warhammer High Elves: High Elves (Warhammer) LOTR Elves Wood Elves: Wood Elves (Warhammer) Bosmer (Skyrim) Lizardmen + Argonians
Or other races that share no similiarities (Forces of Chaos, White Walkers, Mordor, would be seperate.)
And races/kingdoms that have moral differences Thrall's Orcs VS Warhammers Orcs VS Sauron's Orcs wouldn't work together.

hmm sounds like you've got some great ideas I'd be happy to recruit you into the team if you want im not really bothered if you dont have experience as long as you can help in some way as we are currently a 2 man team and progress is slow atm. :/

I could also do other things to help this mod. I can both test, and write. By write, I mean descriptions, text, anything that has to do with letters. ((Except coding)). I could also edit things that already are, and help with Lore from the various sources, and all sorts of shiz.
