Don't like text based RPGs?

I apologize in advance for the lengthy reply,

so yeah,...ummm,...no. they are too easy, my favorite early DOS based game was "star trek", entered/written by hand from a magazine of BASIC games, that is until I got my first Commodore64 computer.

That is where I discovered the text/graphic based post apocalyptic "Wasteland" game,..."who wants loot?" It was the predecessor to Fallout 1.

But in Fallout 3 and NV, the text based RPG presents a certain irony? as the people of 2077 were able to create AI programs for their enormous computers, upload personalities to robots, but nobody thought to develop a decent computer game?
