Installation guide:
Put this Zip file on your desktop or wherever you download it to.
Unzip the Zip.
Run the EXE.
Make sure it found where New Vegas is installed. If not, point it there.
Run the Installer. Follow instructions. Just hit yes to all.
Done.
This is the FULL VERSION OF BETA 221.
New Users will want to ensure they have a version of New Vegas that is in clean, pristine, and working condition. No Alternate Start Mods.
It doesn't matter what version of New Vegas you have. Steam, GoG, DVD, etc.
Run New Vegas and start a New Game. Works? Cool! Install FNC!
Extract the Zip file after it is 100% downloaded.
Run the BETA 221 Installer EXE from wherever you have extracted the 7zip file.
Point it to your Fallout New Vegas folder (MO2 Users, see advanced instructions.)
Uninstall FNC via your Program Manager in Windows or using the same EXE you installed it with. Run this EXE As Administrator. Ensure your Anti-Virus Behavior Blocker does not interfere with the installer.
Ensure your Windows has the latest C++ Visual Runtime Libraries (you'll know you don't when you see a missing dll error.)
Do not skip the 4GB Patcher, even if you already have it installed from another mod source.
Ensure your load order is like so:
FalloutNV.esm
(All Official Campaign DLC)
(All Official Gimmick DLC)
FalloutNewCalifornia.esm
(FNC DLC Control Plugins)
You need AT LEAST 4GB RAM and >2GB VRam. We recommend running New Vegas and FNC on an SSD (hard drives cause slow loading issues and may cause crashes.) Don't forget to turn off any Browsers with multiple tabs or antivirus scans and other 32-bit programmes running on CPU1 and 2. New Vegas is an old programme and it needs some careful attention.

Is the save game v.213 compatible with the v.221 or i need to start again.

You can use the PATCH to upgrade 213 to 221. (It's smaller)
You MUST start a new game. Old games run the risk of corruption, and we won't be able to diagnose the problems you report. (And I hope you're reporting problems where we can see it!)
I think I found a bug in the retrieve ALPHA mission.
There is no option to deactivate the shield on the computer next to the robot ALPHA, only scientists logs.
There is one new computer console close to the exit door, but appears to do nothing.
The ALPHA robot does not talk to me, so I cannot finish the mission.
I have completed this mission many times, this is the first time this situation has happened.
If someone knows some workaround, because I really like this companion and don't continue the game without it.
There is a little bit of a "bug" in the terminal. You just log in and turn off the field. BUT -- if you lack 75 science at the time you use that terminal (say, if you used magazines and they wore off) then the option is disabled.
Oops. It's on the fix list.
It worked.
I spent another science magazine, then hacked the computer called "vault 18 robotics computer" which is next to the exit door and I selected the option "resume control of computer: V18 // roboti", then ran to the computer next to the alpha robot, and the option "disable the force field" appeared at the end of the scientists logs.The force field disappeared and the alpha robot spoke to me and the mission ended. Thanks.

Where? And are you sure you didn't have a corrupt download? Texture mod conflicts?
Well a few character clothes were missing texture and the main logo

Nevermind the character clothes are better now some mods i had instaled caused it but the main logo in the loading screen is still missing textuers the game is allso a bit lagy and some clothes are a bit glitchie like jenn

This looks amazing! We appreciate all the hard work you have put into this.
Fallout new vegas IS the best fallout. Especially after you install the community made patch. This is coming from someone who snapped the 360 disc in half a week after purchase of the retail beta version. I can still see the never ending roulette table loading screen. It haunted my nightmares for months after. Then I woke up and bought a PC and NEVER LOOKED BACK!

Yeah. New Vegas, Vanilla, at launch, got slapped across the teeth with almost identical feedback as our initial BETA.
You just have to go back and look at the first month of player and journalist reviews and you'll say, "good christ, did we play the same game?"
And that's been our experience on FNC as well.
It takes time, but after that initial meltdown things have found a more positive and stable medium.
quick one what destination are people useing as a destination folder for the mod, is it nessesary for it to be in the fallout files?
Wherever New Vegas is installed, that's where you install FNC.
No matter my efforts, every attempt at going into the lower apartments is met with instant crashing..
List your mods. List your RAM and PC specs. We can't help without information.

Just 221 FULL. Then add 222 on top of it manually.
When i try to leave the gymnasium and arena the game crashes :(
You need at minimum, 8GB of RAM on your computer, and if the 4GB Patch failed, there are two causes:
You skipped it by hitting no during install.
Or
You are missing the C++ Windown Visual Runtime Library.
So either go here and install this patch manually: Nexusmods.com?
Or you need >4 GB RAM.
