Sorry my bad english, i am from Portugal.
Can i install version 221 over the v.213.
Is the save game v.213 compatible with the v.221 or i need to start again.
FNC is very fun, I hope in future updates the graphics of cacti and trees will be more realistic. Thanks. :)

You can use the PATCH to upgrade 213 to 221. (It's smaller)

You MUST start a new game. Old games run the risk of corruption, and we won't be able to diagnose the problems you report. (And I hope you're reporting problems where we can see it!)

I think I found a bug in the retrieve ALPHA mission.
There is no option to deactivate the shield on the computer next to the robot ALPHA, only scientists logs.
There is one new computer console close to the exit door, but appears to do nothing.
The ALPHA robot does not talk to me, so I cannot finish the mission.
I have completed this mission many times, this is the first time this situation has happened.
If someone knows some workaround, because I really like this companion and don't continue the game without it.

There is a little bit of a "bug" in the terminal. You just log in and turn off the field. BUT -- if you lack 75 science at the time you use that terminal (say, if you used magazines and they wore off) then the option is disabled.

Oops. It's on the fix list.

It worked.
I spent another science magazine, then hacked the computer called "vault 18 robotics computer" which is next to the exit door and I selected the option "resume control of computer: V18 // roboti", then ran to the computer next to the alpha robot, and the option "disable the force field" appeared at the end of the scientists logs.The force field disappeared and the alpha robot spoke to me and the mission ended. Thanks.

Nevermind the character clothes are better now some mods i had instaled caused it but the main logo in the loading screen is still missing textuers the game is allso a bit lagy and some clothes are a bit glitchie like jenn

This looks amazing! We appreciate all the hard work you have put into this.

Fallout new vegas IS the best fallout. Especially after you install the community made patch. This is coming from someone who snapped the 360 disc in half a week after purchase of the retail beta version. I can still see the never ending roulette table loading screen. It haunted my nightmares for months after. Then I woke up and bought a PC and NEVER LOOKED BACK!

P.S.

You have to love ignorant people who try to use cognitive dissonance to alleviate their simple mistakes...

Yeah. New Vegas, Vanilla, at launch, got slapped across the teeth with almost identical feedback as our initial BETA.

You just have to go back and look at the first month of player and journalist reviews and you'll say, "good christ, did we play the same game?"

And that's been our experience on FNC as well.

It takes time, but after that initial meltdown things have found a more positive and stable medium.

You need at minimum, 8GB of RAM on your computer, and if the 4GB Patch failed, there are two causes:

You skipped it by hitting no during install.
Or
You are missing the C++ Windown Visual Runtime Library.

So either go here and install this patch manually: Nexusmods.com?

Or you need >4 GB RAM.
