Would we run into trouble if we have "New Calibers", it already adds 9mm (a few kinds even, 9x18 9x39 Luger) I think it has .32 as well.

Yes it would actually be confusing to the player because there would be 2 different instances of the same ammo . Also, guns that use the same ammo type will only work with their mod authors' assigned ammo that they used. However, a patch can be made by someone to combine the two different instances of the same ammo type as one. After the release of Liberty Hell, we may work with other mod authors who would like to have their mods appear in the Liberty Wastes worldspace and function properly with a patch...maybe New Calibers would be one of those mods? Time will tell.

New Calibers is a database type mod, a lot of mods use it. I can almost guarantee 70% of players will have it. Maybe having your mod use it natively would be for the best? From my, small, understanding all you need to do is add the proper keywords to your weapons and attach points from "AWCKR". "For example, the ma_9Pistol is intended for 9mm handguns to use" That way you don't have to develop 9mm and 32, and could have two more exotic bullets to replace them? I'm very, VERY excited for this mod and I want it to be successful. I hope I don't come across as an arse <3

Unfortunately, we will not be able to incorporate other mods without permission from the original mod authors. With that said, however, we will be more than happy to work with other creators after the launch of Liberty Hell to ensure such aspects can be consolidated.

"Credits and distribution permission

Console modding permission
This mod will not be available on Bethesda.net for console users.
Author notes
If you are making a mod and need to use any of my ammo types, do not include my files, just provide a link to this mod page, as doing so may cause compatibility issues if the versions are out of sync.

Also, this does not extend to the Custom Meshes and Textures created by DeviousMeth0ds, only he can give permission for those"

Thats under the "Perms" tab on the Nexus mod page. I thought that means you'd be able to use it in your mod, just not distribute the exact files themselves? Or am I mistaken? Either way, I'm super pumped for the work you guys are doing!

It’s all quite confusing which is why we're not haphazardly jumping into integrating other mods as of right now. With the current climate for modding being a bit of a strenuous, hectic mess especially with the advent of Creation Club, it has become a real sticky area with compatibility issues, legality, permissions and platform accessibility. Our main focus currently is to get the vanilla version of Liberty Hell to be completely stable and functional as a standalone before even thinking of venturing into mod compatibility. I hope this gives you some insight on our intent for Liberty Hell. Also, thanks! We're glad you're pumped, as are we, for one day you'll be able to play this mod!
