Many, many people have been asking about the project, where it fits into continuity (if it does) and how it relates to the Last Child of Gallifrey.

So, for all newcomers to the project, here's the below, definitive guide to how the TARDIS, ended up in the Fallout Universe...

How does Doctor Who fit in with the Fallout Gaming Universe?

The project backstory was designed with a key principal in mind. The TARDIS fits into the desolate and post-apocalyptic Wasteland for sure, but every contriving detail of the 2077 nuclear holocaust contradicts Who Lore. Therefore in 2277, the TARDIS simply fell through from it's own Universe, into that of the Paralell Fallout world.

Does F:WV follow on from The Last Child of Gallifrey (LCoG - Fallout 3)?

It certainly does. LCoG introduces the player to the TARDIS. It drops them straight into the action and sets the stage. There is a great deal of mysticism and oddity about this bizarre Blue Box found in the ruins of an old military science facility. Even more so, introduced in the brief but intense followup, Ghosts in the Machine, we're introduced to the prevalent theme for F:WV, and given snippets of what to expect.
For those of you that managed to play GitM, you'll be pleased to hear you'll be getting answers to many questions you had. What happened to the Kid from Vault 101? Who was the freakish hooded apparition wandering the TARDIS corridors? What caused the explosion and almost sent the ship hurtling to its doom?

So if the TARDIS has fallen out of it's Universe and into the Fallout World, where's the Doctor?

Nobody knows. For logical reason, the lead protagonist was removed from the plot to drop you, the player, in the spotlight. All that's known though is that the TARDIS was found abandoned, and alone. Why the Doctor would possibly desert his ship and home may be an answer never quite delivered. Only time will tell.

With F:WV, expect the unexpected. All the answers to these questions will be delivered, and much more.

The fate of the Universe and all Parallel existences will lie in the hands of the Courier.
