A Small patch of tweaks and fixes. Including: Fixed MapScript (was the wrong files) Fixed Player Numbers (allows all factions on maps now. For 2 new ones) Fixed Event TechPrereq (Now the Story event will pop over time.) Prep work for civic traits (All Civic Traits now have 2 levels) Some text and graphics tweaks and fixes. Wealth Civic now gives Unlimited Merchants Eras now have proper Fallout names A few early unit and animal stat tweaks To Install place the Fallout-TTW folder in your Mods folder and allow it to overwrite. Fingers crossed I haven't screwed anything up!
Everytime I try installing it, it makes the mod crash at start.
I tried multiple things:
a) I copy/pasted the asset folder
/didnt work, uninstalled completely
b) I copy/pasted the files contained in each folders
/again
c) I extracted the files in the asset folder
/again
I know that for some people this patch works, so I am curious what I do wrong?
Without the patch, the mod runs correctly.
p.s: didnt play the mod yet (im going to do that right now without the patch)

The only other thing I can suggest is maybe redownload in case the download got corrupted first time...
Yea i'm having crashing issues also.
Okay, i did trial by elimination of the patch files, the mister house button DDS file doesn't actually get stuck in the Mrhouse folder, it turns out that might actually be the issue because after i fixed that i continued eliminating things that might cause problems and none of the other XML files seemed to cause crashing. Weird. ( yea that file just gets deposited into the leaderheads folder, but not sure why that would crash it.)

I am kind of taking a break from modding at the moment, it was just taking too much energy.
Some people do experience crashes for no reason that we could ever fathom, as it doesn't happen for everyone.. it just boggles the mind!
Can't complete decompression of the file. Stops and hangs at 96%. I'm using a previous build that seems to be working fine, v5. Love the mod.
hmmmm... are you using 7zip to uncompress it?
If not try that, otherwise try redownloading.
I just checked it and it seemed to be fine for me. it unzipped so fast I didn't even see a progress bar!

Yeah I am really still hoping to find some people to come on board with it again. The frustrating thing is that it really doesn't take a lot of skill to mod Civ4, mostly just word processing.
To do what I need to do though takes a lot of time and energy that I don't have due to heatlh.
To get the new release finished I need to design 100s of content entries, Traits, Units, Buildings. If we include events then it will quickly escalate to 1000s probably.
I can't do that in isolation, for one thing it is just no fun..
Without community involvement there is just no motivation to do anything..
There may be some hope in the future as a fellow modder is working on a new xml editor, but that does not solve the issue of a lack of community involvement or interest..
