Homer Hickam Highschool, before the events of the Great War was considered Southern West Virginia's pioneer high school in regards to STEM research and was remarkable for it's state of the art observatory and planetarium. Hundreds of years later, it now lies abandoned and in ruin like so many other locations across the Kanawha Wasteland.
