Haha, I can't believe that this was actually necessary for anyone.

I have a question, did you make the meshes and texture folder?

What do you mean by "make"? The layout is used by the core game files, but technically, I created new folders for the task.

lol, some people are special...or have never used a mod for any game in there life, hard to do considering most expansions/DLC are mods also.
apperently its too much to hope for people to figure some things out on there own and actually learn a bit.

Man, I hate the DLC. Why couldn't they make it free... or at least merge it with the main .bsa file! I mean, I love the gameplay and story for most of the expansions, but the fact that the GECK is now fragmented makes modding (and using mods, apparently) a bitch. It also destroyed the only idea I've come up with so far in regards to a weapon-slot system. I could make it for just vanilla Fallout, but then you'll still be able to carry as many guns around as you like from the DLC.

Man, I'd hate to see these guys try and install my BioShock Reborn mod, it took ME three tries to get it right when I got my new PC.

the only thing stopping me from trying this is the greenery, if its suposed to be realistic why are there so many healthy trees in a wasteland? humans and animals get mutated beyond recognition from readiation and yet trees are still healthy? sorry but it makes no sense. if this did not add greenery i would try it but the trees look to out of place on the screens and they stand out like a sore thumb, it would ruin the atmosphere for me i think.

Wait for V7 (no greenery). Besides, green trees are actually realistic. Look at Hiroshima and Chernobyl. Those were DECADES ago, the great war in Fallout took place CENTURIES ago. Mutated animals would either reproduce (continue on) or fail to reproduce (and go extinct). Plus there are still pockets of radiation, but I reduced the unrealistic amounts found throughout the wasteland. Either wait till V7 or play V6 until V7. Watch this mod if you want a notification when V7 is out, otherwise, find another mod.

Just remember those incidents are not on the scale of Fallout.... It was one power plant around a limited radius... Hiro was one bomb... Fallout was THOUSANDS (That is if The Chinese bombed ALL of the USA)Thats what people keep forgetting when they compare.

Yes, but all of USA is much larger then a small Russian town. Larger space = a need for more bombs.

Well, I've followed the insrtuctions in the readme file when I downloaded the mod, I'm using the FOSE and the Archive Invalidation thingy, the game is glitch-free EXCEPT one: the textures aren't quite working. I mean, the weapon's shape, the firing sounds are OK, but it hasn't a standard colour, it changes with the background. Well, it happens to all weapons except the Winchester Model 1889, the .44 Magnum and the melee weapons. Any ideas on what's wrong and how to fix it?

Note that I'm using Windows 7 Ultimate, but I don't think I've updated Fallout 3 ever...

It seems that the absense of the newest patch was the reason for that ridiculous little bug...

Description

If you have any other mods, you may already have folders in your Fallout 3/Data folder named the same as the "textures" and "models" folders. To avoid conflicts, just allow the folders to merge if windows prompts you to do so. Its as simple as that, hope I've helped :)

I highlighted key features in orange and the the red arrow shows where and what to drag. Merging is simply when two folders with the same names join.
