Version 9.0 has been uploaded! It can be found at the Downloads page of this mod. It's still a WIP, so expect some issues.

Description

NOTE: You NEED Fallout 3 Reborn V6 installed BEFORE you apply this patch! Well, nothing is perfect and that goes for my mod. So to help make your Fallout 3 Reborn experience more enjoyable, I'll be releasing patches for any (fixable) reported bugs. Report any issues that you find! V6.1 include fixes for two very major issues: metal office doors not functioning and certain food or chems would vaporize you. That's all for now, installation is as easy as dropping the new "fallout3_reborn" file into your Fallout 3/Data folder. Have fun, Adam

The amount of items you find has been lowered, that is why almost every first-aid kit is empty. A similar thing has been done with ammo to prevent you from creating a stockpile of ammo and items at the higher levels.

This crash during level-ups thing seems to be a recurring problem, any chance you could take a video of it happening? It didn't happen to me though, I'm at level 17, no issues.

Oh and the "v thing" (it is called VATS) has been replaced with Bullet-Time, which can be activated from the Bullet-Time Control Module, found in your Apparel section of the Pip-Boy.

Yes, I could easily add that in, but I may have a weapon customization system in V7, which could include that.

Perhaps. If a V7 beta is ever released, you'll be notified. And I bet your hacker wouldn't stand a chance against 7Zip's encryption :P

I'm sorry, but I cannot provide support for V5 as that version is now many months outdated. You'll just have to wait for V6, if that crashes as well, try removing every mod expect Fallout 3 Reborn.

They'll only happen in certain circumstances. It's better to be safe then sorry, right? As for testing, I'll let you know if a V7 beta ever is released.

Hey I downloaded the mod and the patch and I reinstalled fallout out of my program files (Im using vista), but when I play the game large exclamation signs seem to replace all of the new weapons and items. It does not seem to effect the game physically, except for the difficulty in picking up certain objects, but it is most definetly ruining the experience of the new realism. It also makes it difficult to see and most of the characters are ruined by the signs. Any suggestions as to why this problem exists?

Would appreciate an answer but I can wait. Don't mean to trouble you too much. As I said I can still play the game. And I love the mod and especially its effects on battle. It forces me to use much more strategy.

Did you download and install V6.0 properly? Also, is it only on MY new weapons and items, or is it only on DLC weapons and items?

Just signed up today. Downloaded V6 and V6.1. I did not start a new game, just continued a recent start up save which has me coming out of Vault 101. Beautiful mod features. I also loaded the mods for The Pitt and Anchorage. Whenever I quit the program, I get an error message. Any
ideas?

You don't, by any chance, have the Broken Steel DLC?

This is an issue that happens to many people who use my mod (including me). It's a harmless error message, if a bit annoying. I repeat, the error message is unimportant. Although, it is annoying. I think it has to do with people who have the Broken Steel DLC.

Thanks for the response. I don't have Broken Steel yet. I am using a virtual Windows XP in Boot Camp on an Apple iMac but, I have had few problems with anything I have run in the past. Not to worry; it's no big deal. Actually, since I started using Reborn, I have had no crashes like I had with FWE, MMM and, other mods. Love your mod.

Oh, I see. I would think that being on a Mac and playing a Windows Live game would be problematic enough :|

Anyhow, don't worry about it, it happens to me 4 out of every 5 times I shut down Fallout 3. And since modding involves a lot of exiting and re-starting the game, it does get a bit annoying. Unfortunately, I don't think there is a fix for it, and my only lead was that only people with Broken Steel experienced it. Guess that's not quite true anymore.

Anyhow, I'm glad to hear that, I also don't get many crashes anymore, compared to what use to happen when I first got Fallout 3. I hope you're enjoying my mod, and will play Version 7.

Please read the instructions BEFORE posting "errors". I'll quote for you:

"NOTE: Make sure you download and install the archive invalidation program in the link below..."

Go to this link, download the file, and install it: Fallout3nexus.com
