Fall of Saigon is a Vietnam War modification for the Half-Life 2: source engine. The modification will be based in the realism of the Vietnam War, trying to portray things, events, and places as they actually were. The gameplay will also reflect as much of the realistic feeling as the development team is able to portray. The game will recreate the feeling of the jungle, or place the player in Saigon, or anywhere in between. The player will be emersed in all the sights and sounds of the jungle and will be able to use them to their advantage, and if they're not careful, it could be as dangerous as the enemy. Grab a rifle and enlist today.

Fall of Saigon is looking for some talent to help us finish our initial internal alpha build. If you have talent and would like to help out please let us know.

Our team has been progressing nicely working towards our initial internal alpha build. Our programmer has completed most of the important parts for the initial build and is working on a couple of the gameplay features to round out the build. We have had some work done on weapon and ambient sounds, maps, and models, but we could use some help in some areas.

To see some pictures of some of the work that has been done check out our Moddb.com profile or our website www.FallofSaigonmod.com

We are looking for some talent in a few different areas.
Weapon Modeler
We are looking for some one that will be able to create the weapons that will be needed for the mod. The weapon list consists of the more commonly used weapons of the Vietnam War.
Player Modeler
The player modeler will create the models for the US Forces and the NVA. The game will be class based so there will be different models needed for each class.
Level Designer
We are looking for some expereinced Source level designers that can make the jungles, battlefields, and cities of the Vietnam War come to life.
These are the three positions that we are looking to fill the most right now to complete are initial alpha. We however are willing to consider people for any position. Any programmers that would like to assist our coder would be appreciated. As well as any animaters or model skinners that would like to offer their assistance.
If you are interested in helping us make our vision a reality please contact me either through PM or email me at tompkins.aaron at gmail dot com or you can also contact me through our forums at our website.
