Hi guys!

The MegaModPack is my heart-project for The Guild 2: Renaissance which I'm working on already for almost 5 years (since may 2012). It is a huge project now and since then I learned a lot and also put in quite some works in the official patches 4.2, 4.21 and 4.211.

Still, the Modpack fixes lots of small and some big bugs from the vanilla game, but the main goal is to enhance gameplay experience as much as possible by re-designing existing features to make them reach their full potential.

Just to quote a few:
-The banker was reworked completely and now producing and giving out loans is quite fun - you can now even go out and collect debts if someone trys to betray you buy not paying it back ...
- Also complete market rebalance and new items ith new functionalities (like credentials to get you imperial fame)
- heavily Improved AI (still a lot to do though)
- massive overhaul of the diplomacy feature

... and even more to come because I'm not done yet.

***Installation***

The mod is inside a .zip You have to extract it to the main folder of your
The Guild 2 - Renaissance game, overwrite all existing files. I recommand to
make a new installation only for the modpack so that you can easily play
different versions of the game without un-install.

Order of installation:

1. The Guild 2 - Renaissance

(if non-Steam user)
2. Patch 4.21
3. Hotfix 4.211


4. MegaMod latest version

The french version of the file works as a stand alone (you need patch 4.21 though). Please Delete the scripts folder before extracting into the main game...

There is some problem with GUI\Hud\panel_storesheet.gui file, if I use the modded version, the sell-inventory is not displayed in buildings. Only the storage inventory.I tried different resolutions, and running game in win7 compatibility (also ticked the DPI scale), didn't help. Any idea?

Nevermind, found the answer myself, it's probably intended setting due to integrated "Storage Mod"

Alright, so I downloaded this mod, was actually surprised by some nice changes you introduced then I had to uninstall this nightmare after made my usual rogue play with my mercenaries that tax every major road of the map. After about 4 hours of play I discovered the main problem of your mod: you completely sent the rogue profession to oblivion by lowering the xp gained in taverns to almost nothing and by putting a cap of 5000gp by turn when you play dices. I can understand the logic at the begining of the game but to keep this limit event after the character is a baron is just borderline moronic. By trying to "correct" some of the exploit that could be used on the bae game you just completely broke a class.

Without this mod there is no game. Fajeth single-handedly saved a game left with numerous hard hitting bugs by the developers, and even went above and beyond and added a vast amount of content and detail.

Whether or not The Guild 3 will be free of bugs, I still hope Fajeth will add his skills and ideas to the new game as well.
