SECRETS AND EASTER EGGS
There are many of them. They are not just decorative. It is pretty possible to find them all. It gave me an ability to choose the playstyle during my walkthrough on the fly, that's awesome.

MECHANICS
Mod introduced some interesting solutions instead of classic locked doors (there are a few of them too, but they are not that straight forward, so look carefully), which brings a sort of a feeling like receiving a reward after solving a puzzle.

CUTSCENES
A lot of new cutscenes I've never seen in ROTT before. According to the description they are custom and made specially for this mod from the scratch. It brings much more sense to what is happening and glues the narrative part very well. The only problem here: they are not skippable :)

PACING
Pretty fast but manageable fights. Anyway, there is a decent room for exploration if you like it. It let me easily control how fast I would like to beat the level and seemed like a perfect balance. I think it's exactly how it should be done.

AFTERWORD
Definitely a mod you should give a try to. Just play it, don't grind it for the first time and you will have tons of fun. My respects to the author. Good luck, guys, with beating the mod.
A short map with some good ideas.
Close combat inside the castle & large outdoor areas, platforming sections as well.
Maybe you could have put a few more weapons & health pickups, especially outside.
During cutscenes the animation/movement speed of characters could be a little faster; still those are a nice, fun touch, like the story.
FPS loss sometimes but nothing too serious.
To sum up it's a good experience, you will complete it quickly sadly. Try it!
