But to be perfectly honest I'm extremely disappointed with this mod, apart from the multiplayer which is perfect aside from the misspelling.

The presentation is garishly awful, especially in Jedi Academy's campaign with multiple Anakin's, Yoda's and Katarn's sitting everywhere:

THAT is how you do presentation- not unnecessary soundclips, FMV's from that trash SWTOR covering the classic Star Wars crawls and disgusting loading screens that are garish and not stylised in any manner- a complete travesty aside from the gameplay IMO which is fantastic.

Damn. That video was cool. But man I don't really care for those swtor snippets or the JA stuff you mentioned either but geez no need to be so harsh. It's funny how much I agree with what your're saying but I gotta say chill man! haha I also agree the gameplay at least the lightsaber play and stances feel good! I mean it just came out I'm sure they will change some things, make fixes, it can only get better.

Maybe I was overly harsh, but that's mainly due to the massive disappointment this gave me.

Agreed, the menu, the FIRST impression of the mod is disappointing. It is unpleasant to use and an utter mess.

Problem with this mod is not so much the game itself. I only found one bug regarding the gameplay itself, that is the lightning one (altough some others may arise in time). But most of what makes this game messy to play are the following things.

- Lack of a server to go multiplayer, or problems with the server list.
- Bugs with controls mapping.
- Fail at the Menu Design.
- Problems with level design, since the enemies spotted are not the same than in the original game.
- The class system has positive and negative things. Positive things are the posibility of playing as the different characters of the movies. Negative things are as it follows.
* You can't change your class in the main menu, since it doesn't affect the visuals.
* When playing the campaign, it can lead to serious problems of level design/uncompatibility.
- The singleplayer experience should be focused towards some objectives. Loading a galaxy map and spawning a character to spare some hits is ok, but far beyond it, what players might want is an adventure, a story to follow and the possibility of progressing with a character. Although the own campaing of JA does some of this things, I think that the game can provide much more:
* A sandbox experience: This would take a lot of work, as much creating maps as stories and a lot of things more, but imo, it would be very positive to the game to give the posibility of traveling around the main planets of the game. Some places like jungles could be made procedural, or maybe some maps could feature some procedural areas and some others not, but having a planet with some importante places, where some speciall events may happen, would be good.
* A true MMORPG: This is the second part to the previous idea, and it is directed only to MP. Instead of doing a vs server, doing a server that features the sandbox style, with ambientation in Star Wars Leyends aka Expanded Universe, might be amazing. People could have his character advancing in the Force (unlocking new powers and so on) and, at the same time, and since this is a game based in your skill much more than your character abilities (altough it affects aswell), a padawan could be defeating a Sith Master (as happens in episode 1 with obiwan/darth maul).

Despite of this, I am still having fun beating Darth Vader to the ground in one on one combat, and the sabersystem is very enjoyable.
