Can the mod run on Windows Vista? I keep trying to play it but nothing happens and I'm stuck at the launcher.
It works for me and i have vista.
Are you sure you have patched the game?
Does it give you an error message?

No error message, I just hit play at the launcher and nothing happens.
The launcher doesn't support custom directorys, so check your using a default ZH directory and not something modified. This fixed it for one other person I believe.

probably more like if you have your directory set to something other then C:/Program Files/EA Games/Command & Conquer Generals Zero Hour
i have XP on my PC i get stuck at the launcher when i try to play the mod. i press play and nothing happens. i already patched my ZH to 1.04 and no error messages come when i press play.
Weird. It works perfectly for me and I have XP too.
you sure you don't have any other mods installed and you dragged the entire contents of the .rar into your folder?

i did everything that needs to be done (clean directory of other mods, patch, extract everything to the folder).
If u had contra007 intstaled before you shoud uninstal generals and instal them again that hapends verry offen when i play a mod. Some of the files are still there but you dont know where.

lol reinstalled zh just for this xD, and hamachi XD
i've done everything recomended, but everytime i try to start up the mod, it just gives me normal generals, any help on this? its even same factions- china, usa, gla, and the generals, its a clean install of zero hour, oh and its still the same shell map, oh and its from the first decade
you sure you're running it from the EClauncher.exe file?
It won't work from the Zero Hour.exe file

yea, same thing, its vista 32 bit, um if i could i would record a vid
ok, i would reinstall zero hour and repatch.
Then extract the whole .rar file into your zero hour directory and run it from the .exe we provide.

i've done that, im using the first decade so i shouldnt really need to update, i think zero hour hates me, im gonna try another mod reinstall then try this once more

You can also only have 1 directory ;)

Srry guys, but I did not enjoy your mod at all! Shame on it. I was waiting for it.
PS. You should reduce the game speed - the game is too fast!
Could you elaborate on why you didn't like it?
Srry - i am not good in English, so i cant explain many things i did not like. I hope it is only demo and you will make it much better in future.
The main thing i did not enjoy is game speed. It is too fast so there is too little time for tactic. It is impossible to use units abbilities.
The second thing i did not enjoy is units abbilities.
Some of them are useless - for example why did you put autocannon on hellicopter as abbility? Make it default - its hard to play when there is a lot of microcontrol. Also - chinese spy has three (3!) abbilities - but i think nobody will care of them in battle.
You should make units with really usefull and interesting abbilityes.
There are also few units. I think it is possible to make more units.
And the Behemoth sux, srry. I thought it will be a huge transport-fortress for troopers. Its even has bunkers in design - make it more agressive, those rockets seems not to be so cool.
OMG - ive made so many mistakes in text but my English sux. Also, this was only my opinion - IMHO, so maybe people will enjoy it. You should ask people about mistakes you did and make a mod that people will enjoy. So, contact with people, ask them question about units and ballance and everything will be ok.

yea hi there i think you need to release an updated launcher cus im sure im not the only one with problems here right
change name of the files when you open the in winRar because the file says gib instead of .gib instead of big and it will not run if left that way
anyone got ZH working on windows 7 64 bit? i already tried running on compatibility mode with win XP sp2 and i already tried doing the option.ini thing but it still wont work
Change all the .gib files to .big and then run it using the zero hour .exe file and it will work fine :)

on wat files an the zero hour ones and the mod ones?
The files you need to change to .big are 0ECUnitVoices.gib and 0ECUANBeta.gib

I WAITED FOR THIS MOD FOR AGES! I SPENT 20 MINUTES DOWNLOADING IT. AND WHEN I STARTED THE LAUNCHER AND PRESSED PLAY IT DIDNT DO ANYTHING. IT DIDNT START.......... :(
It would be easier to help you if you tell us what operating system your using etc.
Have you tried re-installing ZH, re-patching to 1.04, and then re-extracting the files from the RAR? Hopefully that will fix your problem.
