This is an all new single player mod for the men of war series set during the most renowned operation in military history. Operation Overlord, D-Day. Play from the allied perspective, namely as the Americans, British, Canadians, Polish and French as you push the German forces in Normandy back to Berlin and liberate the oppressed people of France. The Airborne Landings at Vierville
I'm not sure they were paratrooper in Vierville-sur-mer.
It is too close to omaha beach and in the middle of WN 72, 73 and 71.
But I may be mistaken me.
But if there were paratrooper, it was probably the 82ND AIRBORNE DIVISION
Paratroopers were dropped all over the area, some even landed south of Carentan... Vierville was inbetween Drop Zone D and C for the 502nd PIR and the 501st PIR of 101st Airborne... reports say afterward that 14 sticks (13 paratroopers per stick) of the 502nd Parachute Infantry Regiment landed just on the outskirts of Vierville

Hate to say it Lloyd but he's right. Vierville & Vierville-sur-Mer are different places.
Of course they are 3 different Viervilles in France:
Vierville, Eure-et-Loir
Vierville, Manche
Vierville-sur-Mer
So was I wrong or not ?

Vierville-sur-mer had no paratroopers the Vierville that is referenced in this picture is Vierville, along the D913 road
