INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS
You have to unrar the main mod file. One you have the '1200 Europe' folder you have to place it under Mount&Blade Warband/Modules. The game folder 'Mount&Blade' is usually installed and therefore located under Program Files, though you might have installed in another place.
Once the module folder is under 'Modules' just click on the Mount&Blade Warband desktop icon or exe and get to the first menu that appears in the centre of your desktop. In the upper part you have 'Current Module', were you can choose the model you want to play. Native is the original module (the one that comes with the game), just select 'Europe 1200' and click on 'Play Mount&Blade Warband'. And Enjoy!
The seventh public beta of Europe 1200 Warband has been released. Including 4 new factions, work on scenes, new enhancements and features, and a map expansion, as we start to cover Eastern-Europe.
Command your party and find your way to glory in the Western and Central Europe of 1200. Will you fight over the English Crown ? Or perhaps serve under the orders of Polish Nobles?
With this beta we've added 4 new historical factions, the Principality of Arber, the Bulgarian Tsardom, the Principality of the Rhodopes and the Kingdom of Poland. This version includes 133 new settlements and a bunch of new items, among with a good number of fixes, and a great lot of enhancements. Military Orders also got revised.
Just like we've said in previous messages, Europe 1200 aims for a complete Europe, and the team is working on all the independent historical factions that existed in 1200. From West to East. We started with Iberia, and we'll finish with Egypt and the Crusader States. In the end the player will be able to travel from Toledo to Costantinople, and take part in any conflict.

im assuming you are going to include the holy roman empire yes?, if so will u make it a single faction or have it split up into several smaller kingdoms? i'd really like to see Guelders added, that would be great. but still if not you guys have done a great job.
The HRE will be included yes.
It will probably will be one faction, so that they fight toguether. Buch each state will have it's historical heraldy.
this looks like it'll make the game fun again

hi can i have some help, i tried running this mod but m&b:w stops responding when i press start new game, it dosent crash out or anything, it just freezes, watching the processes in task manager memory spikes up to about 1gb, what should i do?
oh im running it in steam if thats a problem, i have the m&b version of this mod installed on steam and it works fine
Steam isn't mod-friendly. But there is a way to have it ok even if you have it installed as Steam.
You need to see the game's code on your game's profile on your Steam library, and use it to unlock the complete game after downloading and installing the version from Taleworlds' page.
Note: You need to see the code on the library cause the code on your game box can only be used to instal the game on Steam.
That way you have the same Warband, but running perfectly with mods. But of course, you wouldn't have the scores and tropheys from Steam. Which, to be sincere, I think you won't miss after playing all the mods out there.
Well done on this mod guys you really went to town on it
:) ;)
I'll have to say I'm a bit saddened that, owning only Warband and not regular M&B, I can't play as the Holy Roman Empire. Is that one of the factions still on its way to the game? It seems a little bit weird that there's this huge empty spot between Denmark and Western Europe.
Also, no Italian states? I don't quite understand it, they are in the regular version, aren't they?
It's a beta. The final version will include all the factions from the period, among with the Holy Roman Empire, the Tuscan League, Genoa, Venice, the Papal States...
And if you don't own MaB Warband you can try the old version for original MaB, which doesn't include as many minor factions as the beta, but does have all the major ones, like the Holy Roman Empire.

he said he did have m&b Warband, not the original m&b.
Oh, my fault.
Well, sure. As I said, the Holy Roman Empire will be added.
