Europa Barbarorum is a total conversion for Medieval II: Total War: Kingdoms and successor to Europa Barbarorum for Rome: Total War. The aim is to give the player an even better gaming experience compared to EB1 on the RTW engine and a deeper comprehension of the ancient world and its correlations.

Magnificent. Basically EB1 (from Rome:TW), but nice and more authentically looking, and more challenging. To quote a friend of mine around its release in autumn 2014: "The first time I ever lost a battle in Total War..."

This is a must-have for all you fans of European antiquity. The look and feel of various Germanic and Celtic tribes in this is alone worth getting this. My biggest problem has to be the lack of unit variety. Especially noticable with Greek cultures
