Gordon Freeman was not the only one under contract with GMan. There were five others along with him. You are one of them, part of the elite "Eridani" squad. Epsilon Eridani is a single-player mod for Half-Life 2, set during the actual story of Half-Life 2. EE's story is divided into three parts. The first part takes place during the 7-Hour War, the second around two weeks before HL2 and the third during HL2. In EE you play Epsilon, one of the five Eridanis, a group of individuals selected by the GMan to help the rebellion in its struggle against the Combine.

Here's an early version of the background map, many things left to smooth out, and still need to add a train passing by along with some signs of a brief battle with a combine patrol.

what would you guys rather see? Rain or a nice HDR sunrise effect?
Why not both? It rains in daylight all the time. And none has ever done that be for :D
problem is the HDR skyboxes, there's a nice sunrise effect but the clouds don't match the rain, and then this one's good for rain but the HDR is not very visible.
Make a custom skybox :D
PLEASE dont do rain. Sunrise would be awesome, but rain would suck.
all right well good news for CapRaider, been trying to make the rain work for over an hour, and it doesn't work. So for now, no rain yay!
I'll post a screen of the sunrise one.

don't worry I'll add raid to future maps, just I'm having problems with rain rendering in background maps.
