Frankly, this news should appear at the end of August. I very much delayed. Maybe this is due to the release of Battlefield 1 Open Beta ... joke. In fact I read Sherlock Holmes, and I wanted to make the main character a detective, and move all the action in England. And it is also a joke :)
Such a long delay caused by the sudden shortage of personal time (I finish the university), and optimization of locations. But the university - the main reason.

One of the most tedious locations in Half-Life2, personally me, the are canals. Once again I replay in HL2, I just want to skip this location. So Valve has not made it interesting: there any speakers, and the feeling that you're like a little rat, running on narrow tunnels. It's horrible.
In Episode 17, I want to make this location the really varied and interesting. Therefore, the city channels will be replaced by a collector. The City 17 has 3-sector collectors: Blue Sector, Green sector, and Orange sector.

Blue sector

Blue sector - a sector of sewers under the industrial center of City 17. This is the first sector in which visit the player. Advantageously, this sector is not really running. Periodically you will meet a group of citizens who are trying to hide violence with the Alliance soldier. And of course the main enemy for you it will be the soldiers of the Civil Defense. Many place this location you seem already familiar from the original part of the game. But these places I have tried to make the present unrecognizable.

Green sector

The green sector is neglected areas sewers City 17: destroyed premises, many ways of filtering urban water overgrown vegetation. Absolutely amazing, I love when developers put thought and effort into designing levels so that they are believable locations with meaning given to them. Can't wait to see more!

I love the idea of different themes for each location, it mixes things up and keeps the player captivated and vigilant for changes in the environment. I'm so hyped for those new screenshots, keep up the amazing work! Out of curiosity, though, have you considered putting this on Steam? I'm sure lots of people would be interested in a new Half-Life 2 mod (Minerva got a great response, I'm sure this would too!)

Anyway, I have some new information about airex.
It wasn't ment to create deadly pollution but instead a facility that sucks the atmosphere into a portal to power energy for another dimension. And I think toxic air existed before airex was even madedo to alien invasions or the seven hour war . Cdn.discordapp.com Cdn.discordapp.com
