The Enduring Freedom project is aiming to bring realistic combat simulation to the GEM 2 engine and is focused on the units involved in the initial coalition combat ops during Operation Anaconda in Afghanistan (Special Forces, 10th Mountain Div, and 101st Airborne). Conventional warfare will be presented as well. Project features and info can be located in the news section.

are both factions playable ?
Yes. However the Taliban/AlQaeda side is only available in MP. SP missions will focus on the Coalition.
I have an idea for bonus mission where you control Russian troops vs Taliban in 1980's...
I am pretty sure that it wasn't the Taliban at the time, but the Mujaheddin, which formed into the Taliban.
There's a Russian Game called 9th Company: Roots of Terror, but it is bugged in all download links. Anyway you can get references of the war and that stuff
I remember trying this game, it was ok.
you can upload a demo-alfa-beta of this mod because i want play it
Will there be usable vehicles? I realize that you have made some in the screenshots, but are they just props? I don't see any vehicles in the list of stuff on, so is this an infantry based mod?
All of the vehicles shown are useable in game. Once the lists become more complete, more live action promo shots will be shown.
holy dog unmentionables! its back!
can you make some uk desert units with the uk army jeep,a uh-1 that can shoot and still carry people,a uk army tank,a apache,a medic truck and helicoper and some more helicopters for the us and uk and trucks.btw what program do you use to make these models?,and can you teach me how to do this?
I would suggest learning 3ds Max. Youtube is usually a great spot to find tutorials for anything you are looking to learn! Getting use to box modelling would be a suitable place to start if you are looking to do models like weapons, equipment, and most vehicles. You could also look into learning spline modelling for vehicles if you find you prefer that approach to modelling vehicles.
