Endless Insomnia had long standing bugs, a format issue, and several quality of life improvements to add. No fundamental changes were made, as I wanted to keep it as close to my original vision as possible.
Now available in 2 versions!
- Adjusted difficulty
- Fixed bugs
- Made into full conversion mod with new menu with slight improvements to gameplay. It has a high res version as courtesy to Florian.
Current version is 1.2, with the full conversion environment, but the custom story version is also available with the bugfixes, for posterity and those who avoid full conversions.
I hope everyone can enjoy this version better than before, be it a revisit or your first time playing!

I love the story so far- but I'm having trouble getting it to work properly- I run off of the Steam version so it's different to install. There's no Redist folder for the Steam version, so it's a little more complicated to install aside from the custom_stories folder.
inside your steampapps/amnesia the dark descent folder you will have folders like bilboards, custom_stories, etc. you have to place my folders there like it is mentioned in the readme file. overwrite everything and you're good to go

But the reason i'm writing this is because Kiral, you are an *** for using Penumbra Dogs! Haven't seen them in a Custom Story for a while and they are my worst nightmare. Kudos for this, got a real scare from it haha

i always like to use new things in custom mods (of course just those which are legal), as you could see or you will see, there are other new monsters in this mod also :D thanks for the continuation, i hope you'll finish it soon :D
