Endless Insomnia had long standing bugs, a format issue, and several quality of life improvements to add. No fundamental changes were made, as I wanted to keep it as close to my original vision as possible.
Now available in 2 versions!
- Adjusted difficulty
- Fixed bugs
- Made into full conversion mod with new menu with slight improvements to gameplay. It has a high res version as courtesy to Florian.
Current version is 1.2, with the full conversion environment, but the custom story version is also available with the bugfixes, for posterity and those who avoid full conversions.
I hope everyone can enjoy this version better than before, be it a revisit or your first time playing!

I played through it all, and i love it! i didn't think i'd go through a custom story i'd like so much as this one. I really love the torch and burning map. Maybe you could make a mod that replaces the lantern with burning map? Lol no, you don't have to if you don't want to. You could if you wanna make me happy... But i dont actually see a reason for you to, honestly. I mean would it even be a good mod? Dont take your time making it, unless you really want to for me. for whatever reason that would be... But i dont think many people will think its that cool.

you just need to follow the installation instructions, all custom lantern models seem to work that i tried so far :)
Can someone please help me? In the third part after running away from the dog and going into some house or whatever, theres apparently a book/journal i need? on the stool with the candle? It's not there. i reloaded several times, it wont show up
it must be an installation problem, since the journal item is a custom entity. check if you installed the mod correctly :)

A very good custom story! The only downside of it in my opinion was a major bug regarding the locked mechanical door area. I also left a comment regarding this on iN_Love's youtube video!

***WARNING - SPOILERS***
After you enter the room with the barricaded door behind the boxes, a Grunt appears, right? Well, in my savefile, this Grunt broke the wooden door leading to the mechanical one, and now I cannot use the crowbar on it to trigger the Brute's appearence event. I cannot progress anymore on that savefile.
i suggest you loading back a previous savegame and try to lure the grunt away from there :) i hope you'll be able to finish it, and i'm glad that you like the mod in itself :)
