Welcome to Empire: Fall of Napoleon 1815. As you can guess, this mod takes place in 1815 at the start of the War of the Seventh Coalition. This mod aims to showcase a precise time in history rarely portrayed in other mods, let alone games. From the start the player has one of two options: save the French Empire from the seventh coalition or destroy the empire once and for all. What you do after that is entirely up to you.
Carrying on a Legacy:
This mod uses L'Aigle, a mod we all know and love, as it's base. As it is now, we plan to release 3 versions of this mod as we chug along towards our ultimate goal. The first version will just be a patched version of L'Aigle. The latest release of the mod was back in 2015 and it was only in an alpha stage. We are working on turning L'Aigle into a finished mod by removing bugs and polishing it up. The second version will be the Europe Expanded Edition. As L'Aigle was only in alpha it left many things out. For example; Iberia, Scandanavia and Greece are uninhabited as Doc never got to adding in the Ottomans, Swedes, Spanish, etc. The second version, or EEE, will feature a complete Europe with 8 new fully fleshed out factions. The third version is by far the most exciting and is where the mod draws the "Empire" part of it's name from. The third version will expand the map to encompass the entire world. Players will be able to play as any nation from the 1800's that they wish whether it's The United States or Japan, it's up to you.
We will try to post updates daily if progress allows and we're always open to feedback and suggestions from you, the players.

L'aigle has been neglected for years and its fans have been shafted so idk why people are making such a fuss.
Anyone know where I can still get this amazing mod?
LAIGLE is dead as **** , buggy and crap **** , thats why people make better mods
Well aren't you grateful.
Its not released yet.
Do you know if the developer has asked the L'Aigle team to use their work. If so, then your right.
No, he didn't even ask for permission.
I really don't get why people are arguing about stealing l'aigle assets. What's the point? Docm made great looking models and textures, but stopped at that. It's a crime to let that nice work be forgotten in that disapointingly bland mod. And it's not like this guy is making money off it.
Well, chances are it won't be finished, as it is the case with most of the mods (including l'aigle).
So I say to you sir modder, in case you are unjustly reported there are always other places to publish your work besides moddb and the taleworlds forum.
Yes, it is literally a crime—theft of intellectual property.
To be honest, L'Aigle devs did not add in Egypt, did not add in Spain as well as Sweden(and maybe some other smaller factions like the Kingdom of Sardinia)and none of them really replied to people asking about the next update, which causes them to assume that the mod is dead.Despite that, L'Aigle is a good & fun mod that was not complete.(Maybe development will resume, who knows). I heard that the dev making this mod is part of the Holdfast: Nations at War dev team? The same team that made the Napoleonic Wars DLC? If so, then cool but it does not mean you take someone else's work without permission. Just saying. (I do believe the Kingdom of Naples also existed during the Napoleonic age too and if I remember correctly, its missing from the L'Aigle mod due to it's current state)
No, the person that set up this page is not a part of any development team, just some kid that thought it'd be a-okay to steal someone else's mod, and do you honestly believe that he would have added anything new to L'Aigle?
I hope there is diplomacy mod and the generals can use tactics rather than straight charging no matter what. I wish there were things like divisions. In Napoleonic war DLC if you go to the custom battle you can control several divisions that contain same units in them.
Mod is dead guest
Wow...You guys are just douchebags stealing all of Docm's work. I wish there was a report button so that I could report this mod and have it taken down.
They completely gave credit in the description and are adding plenty of their own stuff to make it a different experience. Calm down
They never asked for permission to use his stuff, how is that fine?
there is a report button actually at profile section...
Already did that.
