Hm while i like the slowdown in some situations, like rockets slowly getting to their targets, the game often already slows down itself under heavy loads, so here it just looks like it's lagging already before it's even lagging, perhaps make a comparison vid?

hhmmmmm Slow turning ships and rapid proyectiles. It's kinda weird see some big ships turning quickly.

1 - Slow projectiles are often wasted projectiles due to hardpoint destruction.
2 - I agree that big ships turning fast might look a bit weird.
3 - I really liked how stuff looked in the video.

In addition a greater velocity of projectile gives the sensation of more power.

That looks great, I just hope I can actually finish a game instead of crashing halfway through in the next release.

Nice looks awesome, the reshade thing is pretty nice should do that too ^^.

About the pace slow looks ok, except for the ships turning in 90 degree fashion, the new Shield hit looks nice. Never liked the fast pace in the Thrawns revenge mod with the laser disco show.

I would try to make the slow pace 25% faster and see how it plays out.

Elratie I tried the slightly faster projectiles and it looked better indeed, thanks for the tip. I think the TR team does many great things, but I agree that their oversized lasershow isn't quite what I'm looking for in EaW. Personal preference though.

Have you considered making a New Republic mod? Something based from 4ABY to 19ABY? With your modeling skills I swear you would make a beautiful 5th fleet, MC80B, MC90, and the forever numerous other New Republic vessels of that Era.

I'm talking about the EU btw before any one possibly comments about Disney stuff.

That would be a good dream come true. Would really want to see an Endurance based on the Nebula model. I would ditch Crackens as a guide and make a nice looking 5th fleet.

I do like the slowed up look on the missiles. Lasers look good too but maybe a hair quicker on them. Overall it looks good though I like the slower look.

Description

I think I'm going to release two versions of the mod, one with faster paced gameplay, and one with slower gameplay.

The fast paced one will see ships turn faster and projectiles move faster.
The slower paced one will see ships and projectiles behave as you see here. I think the slower pace would be more realistic however I'm not sure if it's actually more fun to play than the arcade-ish faster paced one. The slower one does lag more while testing, since all projectiles are so much slower, they stay on the screen a lot longer. In this 2v2 for example you can see the game crawl to a slow at some points.
