Are you ******** over both my nuts. AT-AT's with space levels of attention to sound and laser effects stomping around. proper explosions, balancing and i can only imagine infantry firing on the move etc.
Every drop of detail that falls in eaw remake says it all,
It's a miracle,
All J's creations great and small, the Purifier and the executor,

SSD's being built, cruisers, destroyers dead and gone,

A few other things i was wondering about. Is every planet going to have a unique ground/space map? And about the executer, because it's as big if not bigger than the map, would it be possible to give it an off map role like the death star? Or will you scale it down?

Well, this was unexpected. I was thinking that you or EmperorNiko would do a space only gc with more space station types (maybe like thrawns revenge mod?), which would actually fit really well into your mod and make this whole space gameplay thing in the gc setting maybe a bit more interesting.

But, nonetheless, I'm still really happy that ground combat is not thrown away.

Will you overhaul how jedis and sith work too?

That part was always the weakest spot in my opinion on ground.
Jedi were basicly overpriced anti infantry who can't even deal with light vehicles at all.

For their price you might as well buy some heavy unit which represent the second worst part on ground. No real counter system outside of missile infantry.
More expensive units beat pretty much any type of less expensive one.

Description

Ground combat. Galactic Conquest map. Criminal Underworld with tech levels. Vong faction. Vong faction? Vong faction.

Here is the currently planned roster of units for ground combat. Vanilla units in italics, new units in bold.

Neutral units will be buildable by all factions, only on specific planets. So CIS units will be buildable only on some CIS worlds, like Hypori, for all factions.

All credit and special thanks for the GC map and the GC overhaul to EmperorNiko, without whom this'd never have happened.

All credit for the work on ground combat goes to the team! Even though I'm making the stats and thinking up the unit rosters, they're the ones coding it all in, finding new art assets, and testing it ingame. Without these guys the mod would never have gotten ground combat. The Remake ground team consists of: MrDBoy12, SpikeIRL, StrikerUSA, The1Corrupted, Beta520, Kyle_Katarn67
