Pls dont do this, or make it optional. It looks good, but in my op. kills the EAW feeling.

It doesn't have an impact either way.
Tbh idk I like it because add more "immersion" but also kinda removes the eaw feeling.
And I mean it looks freaking awesome tho.
I like it! Although I think the holographic effect needs to be toned down a little bit so we can see what the planet looks like a little clearer.
Not so sure how I feel about the transparent planetary UI though.

This looks really cool, but removes the individuality of the planets on the map. They are all just blue spheres, rather than colorful balls of life and death.
