The 750m long (not tall) Kyramud battleship visible in this image will be added soon, also neutrally buildable on Malachore, Mandalore, and Lehon. The Basilisk war droid will also be added back in as a garrison unit for the Kandosii.

The Jehavey'ir + turrets consist of 4.5K triangles.
The Kyramud + turrets consist of 12.1K triangles.

A small list for the currently (already in or planned) neutrally buildable units:

CIS:
Vulture droid, Tri droid, HMP droid, Munificent, Providence, Lucrehulk control ship, Lucrehulk battleship.
Republic:
Z-95 headhunter, V-wing, Arc 170, Dreadnought cruiser, Acclamator I, II, and III, Venator, Bellator (Mandator).
Mandalorian:
Basilisk war droid, Jehavey'ir, Kyramud battleship, Kandosii dreadnought.
Sith:
Sith fighter, Interdictor cruiser, Centurion battlecruiser.

There are some faction-specific units that can be built neutrally on some planets, these include ships like the Dauntless cruiser, Keldabe battleship, a bunch of Star destroyers and more.

The goal of these units to create a more diverse and lore-rich universe where you can encounter many different cultures and ships, both new and old. I do not like adding units for the sake of adding units, which is why I try very hard to make each unit unique, and have them make sense within the context of the original fleet composition so they have unique strengths and weaknesses.

Aren't those Sith units from KotOR? Why would 4000 year old ships still be around?

Hammerhead Cruisers were used all the way up to the New Sith Wars in 1000bby and the Praetorian Frigate was used all the way up the the Thrawn Era
Time means nothing to the Force

Now that I think of it, it does seem like the technology in Star Wars had reached a saturation point somewhere in the past.
Through the years, ships appear to just be getting a bit bigger and with a bit better specs but without any major technological changes. Warfare in the Empire era looks the same to Empire era.

Yeah tech in SW hardly changes and then there's also some things that get lost and rediscovered over the years.

For the most part everything from around the Mandalorian Wars to the Vong War is mostly stagnant with a few boosts during the major wars which is then forgotten until the next.

You could argue that any old ship was sitting in some space scrap yard(Nothing would decay in space)and the cost and build time you spend are the restoration and retrofitting of the electronics.

Did you just say Lehon, as in the Rakata homeworld?
If so, what are the odds we get som Starforge shenannigans?

I like it. The top hull/carapace reminds me of a beetle. Any idea on price? Like more than a Crusader or are we talking cruiser pricing for a superheavy gunship?

Description

The Jehavey'ir has been added as a neutrally buildable ship on Malachor, Mandalore, and Lehon.

Probably one of the most optimized ships I've ever built, the jehavey is a 188m long (not tall) gunship equiped with severely oversized weapons. The gunship has 2 forward fixed heavy ion cannons, 3 heavy missile launchers, and 2 turbolaser turrets. Aside from the heavy missiles, the Jehavey has no anti air weaponary, it is meant solely as a heavy firesupport unit to aid the larger Kyramud battleships and Kandosii dreadnoughts against large warships.

Ingame the Jehavey is a slow light frigate with a good chunk of armor and shields. Its forward fixed heavy ions and missiles have a fairly restricted firearc, but its rapid-fire turbolasers can rotate freely around the ship. It is fairly costly, but you'll be heartpressed to find a ship with more firepower for its size.

The reason I'm not using an ingame image is because I'm not entirely happy with how the ship looks. It is however fully functional ingame.
