Golan II is good and it looks good too
but Golan III is where the real fun begins
Don't underestimate this one, while the Golan III will be an incredible fortress, the Golan II will be able to hold its own against capital ships and their supporting fleets. With 8 heavy ion cannons it can stun them for 50% of their firepower, and then its vast complement of turbolasers and torpedo launchers (In addition to a large complement of fighters and bombers) will tear the enemy to shreds.
The Golan III is really only needed when you absolutely, positively, have to win every engagement with one or two structures.
There are missing some details on the front but it's good
Aye it's a bit flat, but that makes for far faster work.
Which details in the front would these be? I kept all of the original detail that was on the model after import.
More of those flats which are also above the hangar and on the front, maybe? But not too much of course. Otherwise there would be too much detail on this station (what's normally not possible 😉)
