This mod catapults Empire at War into 2077. It maintains the game's design philosophy, while adding new units, better graphics, and deeper gameplay.
Still tweaking it, but so far this is what I have for the bridge.
I took the Supremacy's bridge and repusposed it for my ends. There's also a bit of the Mandator 4's bridge in there. TIE Defender for scale.
Hey, i think i can see Palpatine in there
I don't see the Senate anywhere
Palpatine IS the Senate
This really had ECLIPSED all your other work so far Jeroen(imo)
The puns... THE PUNS!!! I hope your puns aren't DEVASTATED by a certain Dark Lord of the Sith...
stand still! you are PUNder arrest now.
I think space maps should be bigger in order to maneuver this monstrosity.
My understanding was the eclipse had a thicker neck?
This is gonna be BIG!
lmao that "Tie Defender" circle. Honestly the scale of this thing impressed me so much as a kid when i first played FoC. Will be great to see how different you have made it compare to vanilla.
Yesterday on stream I found out that the vanilla Eclipse was actually fairly accurately scaled, and accurate to the mod's scale. So that'll be the scale of the ship in game as well. Strangely enough the game devs didn't decide to make the Executor accurately scaled though, that was somewhat strange.
The vertical part reminds me of the alien city-killer ship bridges from Independence Day. Nice work btw. Will you be bringing in the Sovereign-class SSD? I prefer that design myself. I agree with stlurz that the maps' scale will have to be increased to fit this pig. What are you thinking its population requirement will be? 20? Also will you be adding some good Rebel/New Republic ships for ship-ship combat? The Nebula-class and MonCal ships seem way too outclassed firepower wise.
it will not fit on the map rsrs
It will.
