This is just the beginning of a major Single-Player project to incorporate different mods and improvements into 1 package.

Features:

  • Upgraded AI for both Rainbow and terrorists, using a combo of well-known mods and my own ideas. Rainbow teammates will now use hand-signals, as the start of an effort to create 'noise discipline' in the game, and they will also have a tighter formation. Terrorists will now patrol and be even more lethal. And if they surrender, you better secure them fast because they will not stay down long!
  • Dozens of powerful new sounds for many weapons and gadgets, with the help of Mikson. More on the way!
  • New hardened enemies created by myself, to go along with dozens of other fan-made models. The armored mercenaries featured in my video are available as a stand-alone download as well.
  • New template files for every mission, to give variety and more accurate enemy types based on the map and plot. Several small refinements have been made since the last version.
  • Fully integrated with Twi's Supply Drops and OpenRvS. Experience awesome new weapons and optics and installation is now done in 1 quick step. All you need is Iron Wrath.

Because I wanted something different, walking-standing everywhere makes no sense especially in recon or infiltrate. Staying crouched greatly minimizes how often they get killed. I need to refine it for the AI controlled teams (recon-cautious should be crouch-walk, or possibly prone) but it’s not a bug, that was my intentions to change it up.

New in 1.27:
-Overhauled movement a bit, I never liked how the team always walked standing on orders. You can now double tap the action key to have the team sprint to a target location. (Thanks to Twi again for showing me how to detect input like that). I noticed when you double tap the action key you hear the "radio in" cue twice, so I'll work on fixing that. I originally wanted to map the switch speed function (blitz/normal/cautious) to a key, which you can easily do, but I found it very cumbersome since you already have ROE to switch between. Any feedback, suggestions are always welcome. Also added an "assaulting" verbal cue when you switch back to Assault ROE.
-Made some fixes to ROE. When in Infiltrate, teammates will not engage unless they have a silenced weapon, which was what the devs intended but it was not implemented correctly and then Malleus removed it entirely. This is great for when you want to start the mission stealthily but also have some extra firepower if things get hot.
-Added Twi's Latest Supply Drop update.
-Jugulator's new and improved goggles HUD is now optional, just follow the readme on how to switch them on. They are much less invasive and look better then the 2.0 version, and personally I prefer them on. Note the 'Heavy' class doesn't have goggles, since they wear the face shields, and you have to turn off the reticule from HUD options in the game's menu for it to work.

I like the goggles a lot, but is there a way to "quick toggle" the HUD on and off? I have a foggy memory of figuring that out years ago, but I'm not 100% sure about it. Without the HUD, keeping track of ammo or ROE is impossible.

Very good mod,

by any chance can I please get an AI tweak setting ROF back to Full-Auto for AI? (As well as different character skills, instead of setting everyone's skill to 100), I generally like all additions to the AI though.

As well as above, I'd like to suggest ROF for different ROE, like Assault, AI will use Full-Auto, while Infiltration or Recon will try to use Burst or Single Shot (Perhaps "Cautious" Assault will set Burst Fire or Full-Auto). Kinda miss full-auto fire, I reckon Single Shot for AI is too good, enemies go down too fast plus there are a few good and interesting AI features such as AI automatically switching to Pistols when they run out of ammo which never happens because Single shot AI is so accurate. Or maybe Prioritise Burst-Fire and if there isn't Burst-Fire for the weapon, it will go Full-Auto.

Also if this hasn't been done, could AI Prioritise aiming at Chest rather than Head (Default)? As it may improve Rainbow's general survival rate when getting hit (Especially in Heavy armor) especially against low dam weapons, this is the same for the "Armored" enemies.

Maybe make armor better in general? I feel that "Armored" enemies still go down very quickly to MP5s (I usually play AI only, and it feels that Rainbows are just blasting through Armored Enemies very easily even with Hollow points then again this could simply be a thing where Rainbow AI get like 90% headshots)

With the changes to Armor and AI Targetting, I feel that it would improve gameplay in the sense that players will more likely gear up larger assault weapons, rather than loading SMG or Silenced weapons for every situation, and wearing heavy armor is less likely to be one shotted. Perhaps improve Head armor significantly for Heavy wearing Rainbows, as a ballistic face shield should be able to handle a couple hits by low pen weapons.

Thank you, all good suggestions that I will consider, personally I don't think single-shot makes the AI "too good", tangos use it too and it makes both sides more lethal. The game unfortunately doesn't have a "suppresive fire" mechanic, so it's hard for me to see any good reason to use full-auto. LMG's still use full-auto by default. I've never really looked at what body part the AI targets when they engage.

Bug RoE AI:

If the group meets the surrender terrorist on the way and will put on it cuffs, then further the group does not move.

This is for an AI team, right? Definitely wasn't aware of that, I've never experienced them arresting a surrendered terrorist lol. But thanks, I'll look into it.

Ok thanks for the update, probably a vanilla error because I don't really mess with the AI team stuff, but I'll try to see what's causing it.
