Well, I really like the idea, however, giving this sort of stuff to Gondor means that the dwarves could never have the same thing, and I really think the dwarves lack a bit of "machinery" and "construction" themed stuff. I mean, they are the best stonemasons in the land, yet they don't even get a Repair spell.

An armored gate and a boiling oil system to protect the door would be perfect. I think it lacks an improvement for the stoneworker, and as you said a repair spell for the dwarves would help.
IMO they must have the most powerful castle in the game.

I wonder what the repair radius of this is. I somehow doubt it would be large enought for the whole fortress, but if it's too small, strategic placement will be a pain...
