Agreed! More female heroes please!

What kind of female CaHs do you imagine? Neither, orcs, trolls nor dwarves would really fit for female CaHs. And the Heroes of the West, the Defenders of the Wood and the Men of the South/East already have female version. Only the melee elf hasn't got a female version and I think the ranged elf is much more fitting than a melee elf.

Regarding female heroes in the factions, Gondor, Rohan, Lothlorien, Imladris and even Angmar have one female hero + summonable female heroes for Lothlorien and Imladris. (I'm not counting Shelob) I don't see any good possibility to add more.

Ah, forgot those two classes. Yes, I could imagine this. But of course it still depends on the time and motivation of someone to make them.

Tauriel fought more in melee.
But apparently you think the race of men lets their women fight more easily than elves, right? I mean CaH Shield Maidens now.
And you think one woman for a faction is more than enough? I don't ask for more but it's like you're saying 'you already got the minimum what more do you want'...
And I do thank you for Hasharii and I do know that a CaH subclass is a lot of work, but don't dismiss female melee elf so easily... please. Some of us (like me) dreamed of such a fighter since they've read the trilogy.
That's entirely possible insn't it? Just dress the archer elf in armor and give her the same weapons as to male.

More the highelves than the elves in general. In the Hobbit we have seen many female elven fighters in the ranks of Mirkwood, but as far as I've seen it, they all had a bow.

But in general I think that man are more willing to give everything in a fight, than elves, because they are mortal. Eowyns quote about the women of Rohan, is something typical human in my opinion.

I didn't want to say that one female per faction were enough. Just that we already tried to include more female characters. And I don't see any good way to include more female heroes in any of the existing factions. (With the main reason that are no lorewise candidates and most of the factions have already more than enough heroes).

How would you imagine a female melee elven CaH? Just a female version of the male ones, with the same armor and helmets?
I think it is much more likely, that the female (and male) elven archers get a rework and therefore you can indirectly get a melee female elf.

I actually suggested just giving elven archers 'sword master' ability to improve their melee, but someone of the Edain team said that it would be a trap\useless ability without 'toggle weapon' so they wouldn't do it.
And now they wouldn't do a female melee elf.

...Anyway, I'm looking forward to seeing your (personal or the team's) idea of reworked elven archers.

Edit: that someone was you)

Probably that was me too. Maybe it could be possible to let the Dead Eye ability affect the sword too. Also, making the weapon toggle upgradable, would be an option, too, because it's quite boring at the moment. But I still believe an ability that affects only the sword, would be wrong for a ranged hero.

As I'm not a modeller, I am not the one to decide what will be done.

Female dwarf would be interesting.

Lore says that female dwarves are unrecogniseble from male. So one of the dwarf classes might as well be female)

But they were distinguishable in the Hobbit movies. It could be their design.

It's interesting, try adding this idea, with pictures, at modding union.
It would be sad from the lore point of view but nice for the game.

I did that :D But really, why not?

Well, because... I don't like the last part of the Hobbit and one of many reasons is ram riders. Which are out of the lore... out of WoW, actually) And we already have them in Edain. So I think it's enough of... things I don't like... from the Hobbit.
Let's have canon bearded female dwarves insted. Why not? :)
But again - I don't mind that version of female dwarves if modders will prefer it. I believe in Edain team.

Also I don't like everything in the Hobbit movie... for example the love triangle, Alfrid, Bard's children. I liked Thorin's character and Armitage also wasn't bad actor for this role but he really looked like a mini man, not dwarf. (Kili, Fili also) There were another early concepts, I don't understand why the filmmakers gave to Thorin short beard.
But I have no problem with the WETA's dwarf women designs, it would have been strange if they absolutely had looked like men.

I don't think the modders create it. My suggestion on the modding union is not too popular.
True, as the canon says, dwarf women aren't showed, they live hidden lifestyle. They don't take part in politics, and don't become great leaders or warriors.
All the same, a suggestion can be written but it's not neccessary to be accepted.
