The mod
Echoes of Glory puts you in the shoes of a Civil War soldier and is based on actual battles from the War. Two teams, Union and Confederates fighting in the American Civil War, featuring historically accurate battlefields such as Antietam and Fredericksburg all recreated from actual terrain data, experience the fighting in the hornet’s nest at Shiloh or walk across Pickett’s Charge or relive the siege of Atlanta! Echoes of Glory also features artillery, field cannons are placed on the battlefields, all usable and movable by players! You will also be able to fire mortars like the famous Dictator across the entire map!

Sharpshooter
Captain
Infantry is the basic unit of the team, and doesn’t have many special features. They carry the default rifles, the Enfield and Springfield with detachable Bayonet.
Sharpshooters have the prone command. This class also have the sharpshooter rifle, with a scope that will zoom into range.
The officer class, the captain is the heart of the team, and is the only class with the Command Voice Menu. It’s the only class that can issue orders from this menu.

This new story posted today was the first intentional release of the union player models for Echoes of Glory. These models portray the basic combat infantry soldiers, along with the Berdan U.S. Sharpshooters. The marksmen wore the green uniforms in order to better camoflauge themselves into the surrounding envirement. The union blue uniform was given to most troops who joined up properly, however as most epople know the formation of state militias and different clothing very much made the battlefields sometimes go gray on gray, blue on blue and so on. Unit flags were a big part of the war, but that story is for later. Also this news post introduced a newer and simpler website. We will be editing it form time to time to make it a little more eye pleasing, but the simpler, the better in our minds.
Echoes of glory is in need of men. As many of yu know the modding arena is very sparse to find people with skills now. but if anyone is out there EOG needs your help.
