Its an M-60 Starship and it is NOT WWII tank and its an awesome model BTW.
I was looking at that, and I was like ... i recognize that... :D
To be fair, the starship at least looks awesome...
Well, it's 20 years older, but it's old stil. An Abrams would already be better suited than this. But the model does look nice. It just doesn't fit. Perhaps as an easter egg or a Fremen vehicle.

I agree. Vehicle must be more futuristic. And that tank verry similar M60A2 "Starship" En.wikipedia.org.
Its great to have first Atreides unit, even MBT, but cannon must jut a little bit, little bit more rounder futuristic shape, even the sides of tracks covered like these:
