Great mod! Although I did find a bug where it started crashing the game when going to save or load the game. Other than that, it's a great mod.

Sucks it doesn't work with Raze. I won't give up hope on a Raze version yet, though. Until then, thanks for including a copy of eDuke32. :)

Next week's release will contain the Linux and (maybe) the mac version. After that, I'm taking a look at the Zeta Touch. Due to the modifications made to the Eduke32 source, idk if it's possible to work on Zeta.

Hello and thank you for this amazing effort. I have an issue, every time i'm trying to launch the game, after the the game title and some red letters (names I think) it going black screen. I still hear the music. Right click on mouse some times give a windows non response error and I have to close the process. Do you have any idea why this is happening and how I could solve it?
This might happen if you try to play on polymer or polymost! The mod only works in 8-bit software mode!
🙄 I can see an option called polymer but is unchecked.. I tried different resolutions (natively I use 3440*1440) but I get the same result.. I also switched between openGL and software options, still the same. I have no clue what else to try.

Hello, I believes you must have forgotten to copy the duke3d.grp to the game folder. Try it out and see if you can get it to work!

If you're a veteran, you may not be interested in playing in this skill level. Try playing it in "Let's Rock" or test yourself in higher skill levels.

ok, so that's 1 question answered. but what happens if one tried to play this with the normal version of Duke Nukem 3D? aka the non Atomic version
I'm sorry, I didn't understand your question.
Are you asking whats happens if you try to play the mod with the 1.3D version? If so, unfortunately, it doesn't work. The mod needs the assets and features from the Atomic Edition.
that was basically what i was asking, but ok. i kinda figured as much. but i didn't know if it would make a difference or not. specially since it's a 3 episode thing and not a 4 episode game
It's difficult nowadays someone who only owns the 1.3D version.
Look, I cannot guarantee it'll work, it may issue some warnings about missing sounds, but that's the only thing I believe it'll complain about. If you only own the 1.3D version, give it a try and see if it works!

After I read the comments I got confused. If I understood it correctly, I need a previously installed version of Duken Nuken Atomic Edition to be able to play the legacy mod, is that correct?
In my first attempt I've just downloaded the mod and tried to play it, but got the same issue reported by thnasos.
Please if the answer for my question is "yes", could you please describe which files from the atomic edition I need to make the game work?

As stated in the description of the file, you need the duke3d.grp file to be able to play the game.
Copy and paste the duke3d.grp 1.5 version to the folder where the eduke32.exe resides (if you have the steam version, eduke32 will automatically find it for you).
Then, execute the eduke32.exe file and hit the start button!!
Always bet on duke!!
