Hi everyone, sorry for no major updated since the last release. I been busy with life simply. I recently started my sophomore year in High-School. But anyways progress with my Singleplayer mod hasn't been great. I did post up asking for help and did get some help but mainly in correcting the errors present in my mod. Here is the list of the little progress I made over the past months:
-New Maps that I keep getting off the Internet from BF2 Map Databases
-Fixed the Error when rotating maps the game will crash, the game will no longer crash when changing maps.
-Removed some effects like the soldiers bodies stay for a long time after death due to performance reasons and it also caused some errors that caused random crashes mid-game.
-Heavily Modified the Classes even further for all fractions
-Added more new terrain textures made "Scopedknife" a member from the Spec Ops Mod for BF2
-Changed Bot amount from your average 64 to 80 bots for even more action!
-A couple various minor tweaks
So there has been changes made and I feel like I am almost done since there isn't anything else I can really add except more maps. So the next version will also be my FINAL VERSION. I know the final version won't have much new content, but i did fix a lot of crash issues and changed the classes heavily resulting is much more action and changed gameplay than how the gameplay was before. So I will release the final version in the coming weeks along with other stand-alone mods! These mods will be uploaded onto this page.
Dr.EvilTag's Extreme Close Quarters:
A mod based on my singleplayer mod except all maps will be small or close quarters! This mod will feature small action packed battles on small maps and close quarter maps that I found on BF2 Mod Sites. Since these maps are small there will only be 24 bots spawning. All maps have Singleplayer support. This is a must have if you still want a BF2 vanilla type gameplay on close quarter or small maps. I am completely done with this mod and it contains 26 close quarters & small maps for fast paced action while still keeping a BF2 feel to it and not so much a Call of Duty feel.
Dr.EvilTag's Extreme Special Forces:
Same like my original Singleplayer mod for BF2, this mod will have most of the Special Forces expansion pack maps converted to 64 player sizes for Single Player and some custom maps. I am almost done with this mod. Will require the Special Forces Expansion Pack!
I will release all these mod within a couple days of each other starting with the final version of my mod, then the Special Forces Singleplayer mod and then the Close Quarters mod. All of these mods will be stand-alone meaning you will not need my original mod to play the other mod. If you are just interested with my close quarters mod, you can just download my close quarters mod without downloading my original mod, same applies with the Special Forces mod. SO THERE IS A LOT OF CONTENT COMING UP AND THANKS FOR EVERYONE FOR BEING SO PATIENT!!!!!
