Finally it is here: our new Tech Demo which is showing the "swaying grass" feature.
We're sorry that we kept you waiting so long, but we have had some problems with admin access and that’s why the file is not in our file section, I loaded it up @ putfile.com.
The file can be found here: Click Here
We're sorry for the inconvience and hope that you enjoy the video anyways.
It is in .mpg format, about 30 seconds and really cool.
Be sure to check out our forums to post your comments and suggestions about it.

A big "thank you" goes to hl2files.com for loading it up so fast. (Especially to Skyrider from the hl2files team)

"mods being free will you be releasing a wiki on how you did that"
It's something that comes default with the new SDK. We did that the first day the SDK was released. (in fact our mapper was watching it and waiting for the feature as soon as he saw it in DoD)I'm sure the mapping crew for this mod did the same (as did a few others I'm sure).
It looks really good though, fits the style of this mod quite well. This may be one of the mods I download and play. Keep up the good work.
I dont understand whats the point in moving grass adds a visual aspect yes but what for? Sounds like it could potentially cause lag.
im not sure what this swaying grass does?
I have to say, this mod has proven me wrong in many more ways than one. I originally expected this to be just a dead-in-the-water project, but it is actually sowing a lot of progress and potential. Congratulations to the team!
I'm in the same boat. I belive I was a "superior attituded flamer" on the first Gamedev.net post they made. Since then I have been pleasently surprised over and over again. Well done.
Thanks, we have a lot of members who are really dedicated. But this past month has been our worst in terms of productivity. A few people have left; our team manager left last month and it was a big blow to our team. He was really good at what he did and his departure is affecting our productivity a lot, so we are in desperate need of a replacement. Interested Managers can email me at canuck@dreamscapemod.com .
Wow, nice feature :)
Lag in a singleplayer game? that's a new one...
the more i see from this mod the more i want it, good job lads :)
rofl, yeh, if you got some comp from 50000 trillion years ago then it'll lag, elsewise it wont lag...
Ayhoo, great job :)
If its single player with AI its gonna require alot regardless also I highly doubt the earth was even around 500000 trillion years ago.. You will all see when it comes out. The more interactive stuff the more its gonna impact the fps unless you have a 500$ video card which I doubt half of you have. Gonna require alot of optimization within the maps.
