DragonBall Source is a DBZ mod for Half-Life 2's Source Engine. This mod is now a Multiplayer Mod, and not SinglePlayer like previously intended. Each character will be assigned their own specific set of attacks, with power levels balances to create fair and balanced gameplay. The main multiplayer game is a team based game with two different sub-modes, namely "Capture the Dragonballs" and "King of the Hill". The "Saiyan Saga" (first release) has been released and is currently available via the Downloads page. The next major release will be the "Namek Saga" containing even more characters and maps. There will also be more features, which will mainly focus on transformations. The new character list hasn't been decided upon yet, but there should be between 15 and 20 extra characters to choose from.

It's been less than a week and we're bringing you another weekly update? That does not make much sense since our weekly updates tend to be every 10-14 days (if not more) right? :D Well never mind that now, lets get onto the actual update.

This weeks update, as well as th other 4 in this 5 part collection, is something i think fans of the mod will enjoy, and if your just a DBZ fan in general, you should get a kick out of it. The update shows our work in progress of Facial Animations that will be put into DBSource, upon completion.

Using the Raditz model (by Reck) as an example, Gundy has applied some facial controls to Raditz, which can be used in various combinations in order to create various expressions and emotions, as well being able to make characters talk, with perfect lip synced sounds.

Part 1 (of 5) shows how the eye muscles will work, just a short video clip, but it gives you an impression of how some expressions will look. To download, just follow the links below. NB: Moddb.com is the fastest choice, but it takes time for the file to approve there, so it may not appear right away.
