PatchThis is the patch file, install it after you install the main mod file, and to the same location.

Steam Install/Configuration Directions:
1. install games to your normal steam directory, for examples C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Doom 3\
2. run each game at least once to make sure they're registered/configured ok
3. run "1qhc-d3roehdm_od1setup.exe" and direct it to install to the same folder as the main Doom 3 game (path shown above)
4. run the update "hdmod1_upd2_setup.1.exe" and direct it to install to the same location as step 3
5. go to steam>doom 3>properties>set launch options and paste "+set fs_game_base d3hdmmtr +set fs_game d3hdm" (without quotes)
Doom 3 HD should now work.
6. go to steam>doom 3: resurrection of evil>properties>set launch options and paste "+set fs_game_base d3hdmmtr +set fs_game d3xp" (without quotes)
move all files from "d3xphdm" to "d3xp" folders in Doom 3 directory
Doom 3: Resurrection of Evil HD should now work.
To set/change game difficulty:
ctl-alt-tilde opens console
"g_skill 0" -- easy
"g_skill 1" -- normal
"g_skill 2" -- hard
"g_skill 3" -- nightmare
type your selection, then hit enter
Activate helmet flashlight (added by this mod) - Q

Very slow, like some other mods, I still have not figured out why. Even disabling almost everything, I get 12 ~ 25 FPS.
I have a Ryzen 5 1600, 16GB RAM and GTX 970
Its a really taxing mod. Configure NCP & lower the resolution if you want to play it. My 1080 can barely keep it in the upper 50s
When installing I get an error about not finding findxp.bat.
Does that mean the installation is not complete?

You should import CEDS animations for this mod, it was used in the absolute HD mod for normal doom 3, its fairly easy to do.
Not really interested in new animations, I like the stock game ones just fine.
If he released a newer version of his Absolute HD mod that didn't have any changes other than graphics (and maybe the head-lamp) I'd try it out.
Problem with the files ?
Is there ironsights in your mod ?
No, no iron sights in this version. Not a fan of the current implementation. By "problem" I meant that there are multiple comments in the latest Absolute HD mod reporting crashes and instability. This mod is rock-solid, never had a single crash.
I do however use "Doom 3 Realistic Weapons v10" with this mod for both Doom 3 and RoE. I think I put in the comments of that mod how to install it for both.
