As requested by HovoFedayi, I took a look at the recently released Alpha Shotgun mod, which as the name suggest is an attempt to bring back the arguably much better looking shotgun model that was present in the E3 2002 tech demo of Doom 3.
Now while a few things are missing from the model due to it being an unfinished project, I think it already looks pretty good so I'm definitely going to make a proper compatibility patch as soon as Redux will be released.
