Don't play with Hell. Part1 v0.5(Stand-Alone)
It is not recommended to use hi-rez texture packs with this mod.
Basic principles:
- best game: Doom2
- The best engine of the best game: GZDOOM
- The best gameplay mod: Brutal Doom
The developer of this free product piously believes that all of the above is true, and wants to give you the best set of cards that will give a full implementation for all the wonderful features that were created by the respected creators of Doom, GZDOOM, Brutal Doom.
Concept.
The campaign will consist of blocks of three maps, united by a common type of environment, time of day, etc. Each map will have its own little piece of hell, the entrance to which can be found through the Infernal Flesh.
Each piece of hell will contain a test and challenge.
The test is a puzzle, acrobatics or other complexity that must be overcome without a fight.
The challenge is a battle after the test. Having passed them both, the player will receive a reward by ammunition and weapons and the way back to our world.
Three blocks of three cards + final tenth card will make up an episode.
Releases will come out with these blocks of three cards.
So far I have not made plans beyond the first episode. It all depends on the reaction of the public.

Even though it was 3 maps. The best three maps I ever played. Sad it doesn't seem like there will be any more. Hell on Earth is the best wad I've ever played, but for map quality this one is by far the best. Felt like Doom 3 a bit using Project Brutality 3!

I think this project is dead :(
I get stuck after the red doors, don't know what to do next. I can't find the air duct mentioned in the email or the security chief. Apparently this was never completed, though even if I got further there was no satisfying conclusion.
Even a mini-campaign (three maps or so) in this style would have been great.
Are we ever going to get the full campaign? I also played the prologue which I thought would lead directly to this games first level. But it ended after the opening credits so I assumed that was the kick off for this but it looks like this came first. What's going on? I loved that prologue and have now started playing this but if this is just part 1 does that mean there's still more coming? If so when?

What's the connection between this and it's Black Edition?
As I understand it, Black Edition looks and plays more like Doom 3.
