Domus is a horror themed Half-Life 2: Episode 2 modification. You are Joseph, who finds himself on a deserted island, after a prison break from the infamous Nova Prospekt. On this eery island you must force yourself to survive, no matter what. As you try to settle down, mysterious things start to happen. Something isn't right. Something is haunting you. Is there someone else on the island or is it all in your head? You need to find out the truth, before you end up losing your sanity. The gameplay in Domus consist of puzzles, exploration and daily chores. This mod is an atmospheric, tormenting experience, that you don't want to miss.

So I haven't updated anything for too long time. Why is that, you wonder. Well I've been in army since January 9th. It's an obligatory here in Finland and not my decision. I haven't liked it there but I haven't hated it either. It's going along okay.

So I haven't updated anything for too long time. Why is that, you wonder. Well I've been in army since January 9th. It's an obligatory here in Finland and not my decision. I haven't liked it there but I haven't hated it either. It's going along okay. I get home almost every weekend, but my expensive time hasn't been enough to concentrate to anything else but partying and resting. I apologize for this. In the future I try to do something with Domus every once in a while, but for now, the development is paused. It's sad I know, but I can't do anything about it. I will fully continue with the project when I get out of the army, which is somewhere between summer and autumn. I will make small updates when ever I can, I promise. I hope this doesn't make you guys angry, but it's okay if it does. Again, I'm sorry. But this isn't the end.

I'm also glad to hear you're not hating the experience :P And it's quite understandable that the development is paused, so I shall eagerly await the return!

Absolutely nothing to apologize here. You owe us nothing, right? So don't bother, take your time and do your best.

Just remember its good for you. Its quite allright to pause development when youve got valid reasons and with the military expirience the mod will probably become even better than it was.

No worries, not sure how it is in the Finnish military or being in your shoes, So I'm not at liberty to even consider luck. But God I wish I could be in the US Marines. It was one of my alternative dreams. Sadly I have 3 disqualifications keeping me from being enlisted even if drafting was still legal in the country.

No problem at all Erik, that is just life and you can't do anything about it. I myself was in the army in the Netherlands in 1982, back then we also didn't had any choice (now that is changed here).
All in all i had a great time, and there is some truth in it when they see they make man out of you in the army. Its not so much the army itself, as more being away from home, learning to cope with other people, etc etc etc. It will change you in a good way, you will later look back on that the same way i did.

About your mod, i just keep tracking, don't worry. And when you have time, or when you are out of the army again, then we hear from you again. Hopefully its not the colt there, when you have to sleep outside, or take long walks etc. Keep going and we hear from you when its time!

success,
Leon
