Call of The Zone is a standalone modification for S.T.A.L.K.E.R. – Call of Pripyat that allows you to explore the Chernobyl Exclusion Zone – a desolate and highly contaminated region of Ukraine that has been abandoned and closed off for decades ever since the 1986 Chernobyl disaster. What has been going on in this irradiated wasteland since then? There are no shortage of rumors and conspiracy theories, each more fantastic than the last. Rumors of mutated wildlife, brainwashed cults, secret experiments, and unexplainable paranormal events abound, as do promises of great riches and wildest dreams coming true for those who are daring or desperate enough to try to break through the cordon. You are about to find out for yourself what is true and what is yet undiscovered, and experience for yourself all the Zone has to offer... or to take from you.

English is not my native language so sorry for bad English.

So far I was disabled both miracle machine and brain scorcher as part of main quests and I also get "Find Oasis" task through "what is new" questions. After disabling brain scorcher I got new task: "Find Wish Granter". But I went to character that gives me that task for reward and I also got new task to visit random character for new main task.

Should I go for Oasis and Wish granter to end the game or there is more if I continue to do a main tasks from random characters?
Is Oasis on "regular spot" (where is in CoP)?
Is there any difference in end if I don`t complete Oasis task?

"Find Oasis" and Wish Granter are both marked yellow in PDA. So they should be crucial/critical tasks, right?

Is there any more main (yellow) task that can be obtained from "what is new" questions? I know that there is secondary taks if there is bounty on your head.

I have gotten Oasis twice now. Once you get the artifact the quest is over. And I mean over. Nobody wants it. Nobody wants to talk about it. Can't sell it. You can use it, high radiation, or you can put it in a stash.

Hope this is corrected at some point.

So Oasis is on usual place?

btw. does anybody know how to obtain Svarog detector?

Alright, I found the Oasis. It is on usual place and this is the pros and cons:
bleeding +2
health restoration +2
energy recovery +2
radiation +4

I didn`t find the Compas in the Red Forest. Now I am heading towards lab x-18 (not shure for name) for prototype weapon. Funny thing is that I already have that rifle from dead Monolith soldier. Probably the end of campaign is near. :)

Slightly different question, but still relates to the end game:

How do I access the hotel/apartment room 26 in Pripyat?

Files.catbox.moe

I've already done brain scorcher and miracle machine, but I'm assuming I need to start another quest line somehow to get into the apartment and grab the decoder?

If I remember correctly, you will get quest to find Doc in Swamp and he will give you a key and new story quest.

Thanks for the info, appreciate the quick response!

Edited:

So I've been doing the main quests that the faction leaders keep giving me, but none of them have bounced me to talk to doc.

I'm assuming I'm missing a requirement or something, not sure what it is. I've found doc and talked to him, even did a bunch of quests for him (usually he just asks for food or medkits) but still no quest.
