The DNF2001 Restoration Project contains one sole goal: to complete Duke Nukem Forever as it was originally intended back in 2001.
May i say that Duke Nukem Forever 2001 would have blown half-life 1 out of the water had it released in 2002-2003. The levels, altho a bit empty and unfinished in the leak, have such scale that hasnt been seen before, apart from unreal in 1998. I have high hopes for the Resto to finish this game as it was supposed to be released.
i can't wait to play the hole thing start to finish however I hope that there will be a lot of bug fixes because there is a lot of them other
then that keep up the good work
Amazing mod!
The true king is back baby!
Keycards aren't visible enough, so I had to give this a 9/10.
What a blast from the past.
As the old saying: Always bet on Duke!
This is, to me, peek Duke. Yes, there are bugs and some nitpicks, but this, is something to absolutely bet on, this is a big task for a small team, but what they could do so far is great, i'm not even into checking others' mods, and often, so something to really catch me.
This is the thing we never got, and man, we needed this, any one already probably wanted to play this build ever since the trailer, and i wasn't even from that time and was always excited to! And after so many years, it getting leaked, and then a team having the commitment to make it more complete, like, it's a GOD send, this is definely something the world needs, that we couldn't get from anywhere else, or anything else. This is, the year of Duke pretty much, i'm not even really into Duke, but, this leaving me with this impression, is just, i don't even know anymore, yeah i don't know how to talk anymore with how happy i am, this is re-writting history basicly.
A must play, specially once it is fully complete.
I'm betting on y'all!
As for the demo... Well, i'd say the only problems are for some of the new additions for the level design, that, makes the level more confusing, for example, the 1st floor of the Lady Killer, became a rather confusing level, and, another complain but, more minor, is, Duke's voice, Giornni is great at Duke's voice, but, i feel like he wasn't directed very well, so the way he delivers them sounds a bit as if he was just reading a script, and, some of the new lines aren't that great, all and all, we can always hope that these can be improved later on!
