Scratch the first ideas I had when I first began modding Homeworld 2. This mod aims to implement ships, subsystems, and weapons that stay true to those in the original game. Diversity with uniformity, indeed. That in the case of lasers being implemented into the Hiigaran race and ion particle beam weaponry being added into the Vaygr race. No surefire release date... yet.

I assume I can summarize the new changes as speech modifications, complete model overhauls, new display GFX, and a loss of almost all modern HODs.

So four weeks ago I did a complete restore of my PC back to the original state I had it in when I got it. I did not create backups of the GFX as of June. I did have a backup from November of all the HODs and GFX I had created, but most of the major work was done from March to early June. This means that all HODs created between November and February will have to be remade as I do not have any OBJs or textures to transfer to the new Collada format for HWR. Most of the HODs I worked on were old HW2 HOD format. There weren't more than 30 HODs I created that had textures that were up to HWR standard, so I should not have a problem recreating them as the textures were stitched together with HWR ships' textures.

Also: classic HW2 speech has been modified. I have added a radio cutoff effect just for sh*ts and giggles. I do not know if I will implement the new clips, but I will upload a sample of the audio soon, probably today.
