Dibella's Watch adds an entire new continent to Oblivion. It comes complete with a major city, castles, towns, villages, farms, monasteries and all the good stuff that makes up a Medieval landscape. There's also fighting to be had and quests to be made!
Yes! Every tree is hand-placed.
I know. I should get out more.
wow amazing! That's a damn big forest!
I do the same thing and I could say it's really time consuming
It is. But to speed it up a bit, I mark a tree, press Ctrl+D to create a copy of it, drag it out and place it. The real problem is that a forest needs different kinds of trees to really look good, so I need to vary it a bit too. Also, I always paint black shadows under each tree...
Yeah I do copy them too. Most times I place some of them and then copy them usually around 10 when the terrain is flat. When it's not I place each one of them by hand. And yeah variety is an issue to my mod too.I just placed one type of tree at some areas but with different scale but after I'll add more variety too
I've noticed that scaling trees somehow screws up their collision. I dunno what that's about, but I'm not scaling mine anymore...
scale them a bit is okay and doesn't cause any problems;)
i think i can see my grandma house right there..
She has some scary neighbours if that's her house. But, yeah, and if you look real closely you can actually see her right there in the garden.
Your attention to detail is staggering...has Bethesda contacted you about employment yet?
Not yet, but I'm expecting their call every day. If the job as lead designer for Elder Scrolls 6 is still up for grabs, I'm their best choice. I can promise you a lot of nudity and unnaturally dimensioned boobs in the upcoming ES6. And that's a promise carved in stone!
make it " carved in stone with blood on it" and i'll believe u
OK OK! How does this sound: "Boobs and Nudity are carved in stone with blood on it"?
naaah, still not convincing,
ah well, I'll be at my grandma's house if u feel like taking..
:P
