The best mod for Diablo 1, hands down. The amount of content offered in The Hell 2 is immense, from the vast variety of loot and items(over 1300 uniques with even more being added in future patches), to the 29 new playable classes that can be customized with various traits and perks. All of these new features have a legitimate purpose as well, as the game has a heavy emphasis on character building and balancing, and the game can get either harder or more manageable depending on how you structure your character.
Aside from the gameplay features, this mod is about as modernized as you will get for Diablo 1, with support for resolutions up to 4k and optional visual effects like lighting bloom and anti-aliasing. There's also a small multiplayer scene going on for TH2, just do a google search for the official Discord and I'm sure someone can help you get started from there!
Everything about Diablo 1 has just changed, this mod adds so much life into it, just what this game needed for sure. Take everything you loved and multiply it. It adds new ways play the game with added classes and perks and the AI will kick your *** if you aren't alert.
I look forward to seeing more updates, playing a magic trapper at the moment and its feel is good.
I hope you can add new skills or items like the trappers traps where they function as a weapon but are a unique play style.
