"When Alice Meets Silent Hill" -- Devil behind the Canvas is an ambitious action adventure game. The project was started in late 2006 by Yuan Cui, who is the original story creator as well as art director. In the game you play as Amy, a traumatized girl whose mother was killed. Amy's father is a dark artist. Amy needs to travel between the worlds of her father's paintings in order to survive and find out the truth behind her mother's death. The project features an atmospheric theme and a unique "traumatized" gameplay, also a special "Canvas" system allows you see a real-time paranormal world. ----Devil behind the Canvas is looking for a leading animator and programmers for the moment.

Thanks for the comment~
Yes I'm a fan of bioshock, but what we're doing is not a bioshock clone.
Maybe you see the same kind of lighting shooting out of her arms just like the lighting plasmid in Bioshock, but I would say DBC is more like harry potter being put into a FPS format with a lot of horror elements. The story is much differ from bioshock and we can't reveal to much right now.
Also bioshock is based on an utopia art deco style, but what we have is gothic style from medieval europe. They are far away from each other.
I just wanna give the people some information around here, don't mistake my words please :)
Thanks for all the people who's keeping an eye on DBC~ we'll try our best on this project

lol i know what you mean with the "art deco" look. but what i was meaning in just the way the character looks and the textures. I think even shadow342 sees it.

by no means is this a bad thing. I was just pointing out that i could see a resemblance. for instance my UT3 project looks like fable :D lol.

but you never answered my main question...
are you entering the Make Something Unreal Contest.

thanks for the reply! may or may not, it depends on the progress and quality, if by the time we're ready ,we'll go for it. otherwise we don't want rush on anything or destory the quality. I hope this makes sense :)
