I tried not to but I always ended up blowing her up out of spite.
Good times.

Looks awesome! Nicely detailed. I also really love the ouroboros mural; it adds allot to the atmosphere and character and fits with Everett (as someone driven by history and very intellectual). Great work guys. I cannot wait!

Silly me! I see there are many murals now! Wow they all look very cool. Really reflect the illuminati symbolism (I see the Masonic symbolism there as well). Again, very cool. Cannot wait for Revision!

Thank you phillon, and I'm very glad you noticed those wall tapestries and their symbolism; we really wanted to characterize Everett's place (and therefore Everett himself) as an epitome of the Illuminati both on the intellectual and historical side, as you said, and as a reference to the aspects of the very in-game symbolism (such as transhumanism seen as progress of the human being, JC as messiah, Helios as the sun etc.) I'm absolutely happy when this kind of work gets appreciated (:

It's that attention to detail that makes Revision my most anticipated gaming release this year. It's like a remastered and enhanced edition of my favourite game. Thank you so much for going the extra mile with this...though I am sure you will agree that this game deserves it.

Why you didn' switched directly on Unreal Engine 4 or CryEngine?
I know, is doubled work, but audio, dialougues and other scripts are already wrote, maybe the graphics part could be the hardest.
My best wishes.

In short, because we don't have access to the game source code. It's more than simply transferring content- animations would need to be remade from scratch, textures & models converted, environments rebuilt (again) in greater detail- that by itself would be double the current workload. But we would also need to rebuild a vast majority of game systems- mechanics, basically- and that would involve a nearly impossible degree of reverse engineering without access to the Deus Ex and Unreal 1 source code. At that point we may as well be making our own game! :) Unreal 1 is an old and clunky thing, but the route we've chosen is that one that makes the most sense to us given the size of our team and what we can accomplish in a more reasonable timeframe.
